"I hired E&J landscaping for an ambitious project that required four types of lighting, a recessed fire pit, fencing, sprinklers, grass, concrete, two types of planters around the entire perimeter of my yard, and about a dozen different kinds of plants. Eric and his crew were respectful, communicative, and did a great job. Highly recommend."

"Really strong recommendation for Josh. I have a house with a lot of stone and unfortunately about 10 pieces fell off this past winter. I called a few stone masons to quote the job and found each quote unrealistic for the amount of work involved. I found Josh through another contractor with whom he worked. Josh came out to the house and gave me a reasonable quote which satisfied my needs and, more importantly, paid Josh for the quality of stone masonry that he does. I am very pleased with the work and will definitely use Josh for all my stone masonry needs going forward. Definitely deserves 5 stars."

"Juan and Alfredo are some of the hardest workers I've ever met. They, not only took care of our grading problem, they also transformed our backyard into our dream entertainment space. They were easy to work with and implemented all of our changes on the fly. Highly recommend."

"The job went well. It ended up being bigger than anticipated but Coyote Creek was great to work with and offered amazing customer service. They worked so hard and our yard looks amazing. They basically transformed it from an unusable nightmare to a beautiful haven. I recommend them for your landscaping projects."

It all started with a trip to the Azores of Portugal. RTA's co-founder went there to meet his wife's family… And had his first encounter with an outdoor kitchen. The charm of that kitchen went far beyond providing meals. It served as an inviting gathering space, and offered moments to break bread together.\n\nThe inspiration from that outdoor kitchen was bottled up and shipped back to the US. Unfortunately, there was a lack of accessible options in America in the early 2010's. Someone needed to rethink the conventional approach of construction. Thus began the journey, with a goal of remastering the outdoor kitchen.

"We had a serious issue with rain runoff settling our soil at our foundation. Joe and his crew were incredible!!! He replied immediately and came out the same day to bid. His assessment was spot on, very affordable for all they had to do, and they remedied our issue quickly and even impressed our builder Rep, who said how to fix it. Joe went above and beyond to make it so we’ll never have issues again!!! I can’t recommend Joe enough and honestly, I very rarely do online reviews, but with Joe, I just had to. Yes, he is that good,,,,TRUST ME. ?"

"The crew tackling my patio flooring were hard working, efficient and very courteous. My patio looks beautiful. I would highly recommend this Legacy Pavers team. Side note: They were really kind to my annoying puppies and made me feel like they enjoyed working at my house and helping me out!"

"We had Waterstone do a cinderblock retaining wall for us and they did an awesome job! We loved woking with Jamison and his crew; they were super responsive, answered our questions, and got the job done in under a week. We will definitely reach out to them again on other projects."

Outdoor Kitchens questions, answered by experts

In most cases, yes, an outdoor living space adds value to your home. The trick to your best return on investment is to choose high-quality building materials that will look nice and durable without crossing the line into total luxury that becomes cost-ineffective. For example, there’s no need to install marble tiles around your pool, but a durable and aesthetically pleasing deck will go a long way.

Built-in gas grills typically have a life span of 10 to 15 years. However, their longevity can vary based on quality, usage frequency, climate conditions, and maintenance routines. High-quality models made from durable materials tend to last longer. Additionally, regular cleaning, covering the grill when not in use, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners and replacing worn-out parts can extend its life. A well-maintained built-in gas grill can provide excellent performance and memorable cooking experiences for a decade or more, making it a worthwhile investment for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.

The cost to build an outdoor kitchen averages around $15,500, but prices can range widely from $5,000 to over $52,000 depending on the project's complexity and features. Many projects fall within the $5,000 to $30,000 range. Since outdoor kitchens are highly customizable, several key factors influence the total cost, including the size and layout of the area, the quality of materials for countertops and cabinets, the number and type of appliances, the need for site preparation like land leveling or a foundation, and whether new utility lines are required.

You can call a second kitchen many different names—butler’s pantry, scullery, prep kitchen, working kitchen, dirty kitchen, or even just second kitchen. In modern times, however, second kitchens are almost always called prep kitchens or small kitchens. However, the purpose of a second kitchen remains the same—prepare food and clean items “behind closed doors.”

On average, installing a DIY outdoor kitchen costs between $4,550 and $19,000, which is about $1,500 to $6,000 less than having one professionally installed. Many variables factor into the cost of installing an outdoor kitchen, such as the type of material, accessibility to the job site, and the potential costs of hiring a professional electrician or plumber, as well as any necessary permits.
