"I worked with Matt Crowell on installing a home solar system for our home in Saint Paul, MN. Greenify did an amazing job coordinating all the utilities, installers, electricians and even provided great financing options to get this project completed. It feels great producing our own power and doing what we can to save some energy. I would work with Greenify on any Solar project in my future. Do note you must be patient with the process as it can take some significant time to get all the rebates and services when you have to coordinate with your utility"

From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and highly knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue with my gutters and provided a reasonable estimate. The replacement was done with high-quality materials, and the team worked diligently to ensure everything was perfectly installed. They left the site clean and tidy, and the gutters are now functioning flawlessly. I highly recommend M & M Gutters LLC for anyone in need of gutter services. Outstanding service all around!"

Eifs Installers questions, answered by experts

The proper way to install a window well is to measure the window, dig a hole deeper and wider than the window, place a drainage tube and cap, anchor the well to the foundation, caulk the seam, and backfill the hole. The job requires tools such as a hammer drill and auger and some heavy digging. Proper placement and window well installation are critical to preventing water from leaking into the window.

Yes, egress windows can significantly add value to a home. By making basement and attic areas safer and more livable, they allow you to market these spaces as finished living areas, which increases your property's value. Many homeowners can recover the full installation cost, with some sources citing a return on investment of around 70%. The exact value added depends on your specific home, location, and adherence to local building codes. Beyond financial value, egress windows enhance functionality by adding natural light and comfort. They are also a crucial safety feature, often mandated by building codes to serve as an emergency exit.

Installing a window well costs anywhere from $500 to $1,500 or more. Adding an egress window and well runs about $3,900 on average. Adding a window well cover to the project can add $200 to $700. A well cover helps protect your egress windows from weather damage and keeps them clear of dirt, debris, and wildlife.

When you need new windows depends on a variety of factors, including the age of your windows, the age of your home, and the climate you live in. If you’re dealing with budget constraints, you don’t need to replace all your windows simultaneously.

When buying new windows, you should consider energy efficiency, safety, and aesthetics to choose the right window for you.

Expect excavation below grade, creating a well for access, weatherproofing, and thorough inspections during setup.
