I started on it but made very slow progress and my wife complained about the job I was doing so we decided to hire it out. We hired someone from homeadvisor and he responded quickly and gave us an estimate in line with what I expected so I hired him. He showed up when he said and completed the job in 3 days- less time than I had spent doing a small fraction of the job. He did a wonderful job, and more importantly my wife is very happy with it. He cleaned up afterwards and is a very friendly guy.
