"If you ever need a foundation company this is bar none the absolute best. I met with all the local foundation companies with the best reputations - RamJack, Baird, GL Hunt and Olshan. The system FSS uses is not the least expensive, but by far the best. All components are galvanized to include the piping. The competitor's equipment could not even compare with FSS. Just as important, the crew who did the work on my home were absolute professionals in their trade. Andrew, Ricky and Gabe were the best. All of them have years of experience and the foreman, Andrew, has almost two decades of knowledge and hands-on experience, and knowing this eased any concernes I had. Once the fifteen piers were all in place, all piers were connected together via hydraulic hoses and pump. Only then was the house lifted simultaneously - both left and right sides. "I made the appointment two days ago and was promised a time slot of today between 11am to 1pm, with a call before arrival.  At 1030 am I received the call and 15 minutes later, the plumber (Josh) and his assistant (they were coming from a major repiping job, hence there were two of them) arrived and began work. Josh's assistant began work on the hose bib while Josh evaluated the faucet repair.  
Josh informed me that I might be able to get Moen to provide free parts by mail, but I told him I'd prefer to have him go ahead and replace the part now.  Fortunately, he had the part on his truck and proceeded to disassemble the faucet, replace the damaged cartridge, and put everything back together.  Josh worked quickly but carefully, and the repair was done in about 30 minutes.
The best words to describe the encounter:  thoroughly professional.
At my request, Josh also gave me useful details on their piping replacement services.  I will be requesting an estimate from them for a complete replacement of our house's 30-year-old galvanized piping with PEX tubing.

"Rob and his team are truly amazing! They came in and efficiently installed a root block in our backyard on a Thursday. The following Tuesday they returned and installed a drainage system for our backyard with three catch basins and run off into the street. In the front yard they cut the grass into sod pieces before digging the trench and when finished replaced the grass making it almost imperceptible that they had done the job. Rob is an encyclopedia of information about trees and landscaping and he is always willing to share what he knows. I highly, highly recommend hiring him and his team (some of whom have been with him 16 years) He is honest, knowledgeable, and very fairly priced!"

"DAV Construction was hired to replace a damaged roof and gutters. They did a professional job of discussing the bid with me. However, this was more than a roofing job. I had an issue with water seeping through my second floor brick that continued to damage my interior and patio cover. We all thought it was a poor trim installation. Alex took a hard core position of helping me correct the problem. We had to repair any openings in the existing brick and applied a water sealant. I even had a phone call several months later after a heavy rain storm to see if we had any visible leaks. All was good and the extra effort was was high on the scale of taking care of the customer. I would personally recommend Alex and his team to anyone."

"I was contacted by the dispatcher as scheduled and told that Michael was on his way and he arrived according to the appointment. I explained the project and showed him the sink, faucet and garbage disposal I had acquired and asked for his opinion. He suggested a different faucet which he could provide. He explained the basis of his recommendation. His price of $604 for the faucet, including installation and warrantee was more than I was willing to pay, although the quality may well have been worth it; I have no way of knowing.
I asked him to continue with an estimate using my supplied materials. As I indicated above, the total was more than I was expecting. Throughout, he was courteous and professional and did not try to pressure me into decisions I was not ready to make.

"Came by and looked at the doors within a week, texted an estimate within a few days, came back in a week an did the work. Took about 4-5 hours to correct a couple of doors, including taking one of the hinges, and installing new weatherstripping. Some doors were binding badly, they all work well now, with no daylight!"

"The Basement Kings finished their LARGE job this morning, and I can’t praise them enough! They had a long, difficult job, but no complaints. When they discovered a problem, they fixed it. No problem, that’s their job. They found the water problem had a lot to do with drainage, so they worked outside in cold & rain & developed a system to carry water away from the house. That, to me, was over & above, but they said their main objective was to get & keep the basement dry, so they did what they had to do with no complaints. Now you can’t ask for better than that - they give their all! I am totally amazed!!"
