They are the best landscaping company I have ever worked with. They really listen. They specialize in Texas native plants. They know everything and they put stuff in that is going to grow. Previously we had a big huge drought, we withstood 5 droughts and I wanted to put plants in my yard that can handle that. I would give him half of the most stars you have given every body. His name is Paul Dowloan. His plants are cheaper by $3 to $4 than some of the top most nurseries. He is very economical. He is the most knowledgeable landscaper I have run into in years. He cares more about teaching you native plants. Making sure you use them and doing every thing right and using the right plants in the right location so that you don't fail. He is really big on education and he has got a lot of books up. I have learnt a lot from him. He is an old timer in this area and he knows what grows in this town. He put the plants in the front yard, they have only been there like a month and they have grown like weed. He has done so creative on the pond, put strings around it. He is really good. When I questioned the gross disparity between his initial drawing / bid and the finished product he said he decided to use larger plants instead of what he initially bid. He then went on to say that he stood behind his work and would replace any plants that died within the first year at no cost. Although I was not happy with the gross disparity between his initial plan and his finished product, he convinced me to enter into a monthly maintenance agreement at $250 per month. Again, I trusted him and, as an absentee homeowner, felt he was best qualified to maintain his own work.
In spite using "larger, healthier plants" for the initial installation and his "monthly maintenance", 9 plants of 23 died.
When I contacted him asking to meet with me to discuss replacing them, he quit returning my texts and calls and I have not heard from him since.

At this time, we have removed 2 trees as advised and will follow his foundation watering advice for about 2 years and reassess then the need for piers. They communicate well with Dino and there have been no incidents of missed communication between him and his crew. Although Dino is not on the job site the entire time that they are working, the crew knows exactly what was discussed and follows through. I have seen Dino's crew work efficiently through even the toughest summer heat that the North Texas climate can throw at them (108 Deg. F plus) and they stay on the job. One of Greg's employees came out as promised and brought the side bushes back to a more manageable height, and removed some of them entirely. I didn't even know I had trees over there, but apparently they'd been cut down to ground level once already, and then allowed to grow back. The neighbor can now use his side walkway without worrying about wasps or fighting my shrubs! The front shrubs look wonderful now that they're trimmed, and having the \"tree\" removed out front has really opened up the yard. Greg ran his mower through the front and back and edged the walkways, blowing all the trimmings off the sidewalks and such. I had him come back a second time two weeks later and he trimmed the monkey grass that had taken over around where the tree used to be in front. We found a decorative planter and a hose coiled up, amazing! During all of this my husband bought a lawnmower from a coworker. Now we'll see if he'll actually use it, or if I'll be calling Greg to keep maintaining our yard for us. I certainly wouldn't mind, because he does a wonderful job!"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/holliday/pro-quality-lawn-and-landscape-reviews-4903553.htm"},"position":10}]}

It was fast and ground it right out. I was able to plant another tree in its place immediately. Very happy with the job done and completed.
I had three companies quote the job - 2 with carrier and 1 with American Standard products. I selected Ferguson Veresh based on a slight cost advantage and a significant responsiveness edge. I replaced a 2-zone system ( 2-ton and 2.5 ton units) with a single zone, 5-ton unit. This allowed...

FAQs for plant watering projects in Wichita Falls, TX
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Lawn irrigation is the process of getting water to your lawn, grass and all, for it to grow. There are five main types of lawn irrigation methods:
Manual irrigation puts you in charge of the flow of water. Using a sprinkler head on your hose is best to evenly distribute the water across your entire lawn. This doesn’t take much time but requires you to be physically outside holding the hose.
Above-ground sprinklers attach to your hose and rotate or oscillate around your lawn. Since these are above-ground, they’ll need to be moved when it’s time to mow, and depending on the size of your property, you might need to move it around your yard for full coverage.
In-ground sprinklers are flush with the ground when not in use but pop up above the ground level when it's time to water the lawn. Piping for these sprinklers is all found underground, and there are different types of sprinkler heads for different uses and lawn sizes.
Drip irrigation involves drip lines that are more efficient than sprinklers for more extensive lawns. This involves a lot of digging since they are installed underground, but it makes it easy for you to mow.
Rainwater collection and irrigation uses nature’s precipitation to water your lawn. This option might not be available in every area since semi-reliable rainfall is needed, though the barrels for this system can range from 15 gallons to 10,000 gallons or more.
The cost of a lawn sprinkler system is $2,550 for the average homeowner. However, this price can range from $350 to $5,000 or more, depending on the type of sprinkler system you install, the size of your yard, and the type of sprinkler heads you choose. For example, rotating or oscillating sprinkler heads are more expensive than stationary ones, making the cost for one sprinkler head $2.50 to $30 each. Likewise, a yard that is 1/4 of an acre in size averages a total average price of $2,460; however, a one-acre yard averages a cost of $9,840.
Landscaping costs around $3,500 but varies widely from $200 to $14,000. Factors that play a part in your final landscaping price tag include:
Location
Yard size
Project size
Materials
Land preparation
Type of landscaping
Considering so many factors, it’s not surprising that the overall costs can differ. A typical landscaping project is flower bed installation, which averages between $800 and $3,000. However, landscape lighting installation is a higher-end project, with a price tag of $2,000 to $6,000.
