Doug Conner did all the field-work; measuring, and coming back in a week to install. The price was well below any other estimates, and the screens are top quality. Our windows are no longer perfectly square, but he had the skill and experience to get it right. I gave a 4 for two reasons. First, he got tied up on another project, but did not call us to say he would be two days late to install. Second, the manufacturer failed to make one screen, and had the rest wrapped up in a way that made it impossible for Doug to count accurately. If he took apart the packaging to check, he risked them getting knocked out of square during transport. But, true to his word, he was back the next day with a rush-job to install it."

"They were extremely professional and showed up at the exact time of my appointment. Ken walked around my house, went in my attic, and inspected the inside of my house to find possible energy efficiency improvements.  While he was doing this his contractor did the weatherstripping on my back door.  The door has electronic locks and has to be aligned perfectly for them to work and they made sure it was right.  I was impressed by this because i've had other contractors not pay attention to the details.

The solutions that we came up with for my house are adding a raddiant barrier in the attic, fixing the insulation around my soffits, and adding a solar attic fan.  I have all new insulation in my walls and new double pane windows so there was no room for improvement there.  I'm currently running the numbers to determine if the work is cost effective, but if I do end up doing the work I will definitely go with Ken.
