"Response was as appointed and friendly. Equipment was adequate to perform the work safely. Work was done as specified. Debris was removed (1 large trailer full). In addition, they suggested removal of some trees 3" to 8" diameter. We accepted some of these suggestions. They provided estimates for removal of two larger trees."

"Gutters were leaking and Doug and his assistants sealed the seams. Doug noticed that the gutters were coming loose in a few places and he reinforced those areas. In addition , they removed a section of gutter from the second story that we no longer wanted. Greg and his team did a very good job and completely cleaned up the work area. We would definitely hire them again for future jobs."

"Travis was hired to clean up a new business location in the Freeport, TX area. He has always been on time and communicates with us on when he will be there. We have had him do other jobs at this location and we plan to continue to use him going forward. I would definitely recommend him for any of your site maintenance needs."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Lead exposure poses significant health risks, including neurological, developmental, and behavioral disorders, especially critical in young children and fetuses.

You may see specialty products for sale to remove lead dust, such as D-Lead surface wipes. But you do not need to buy a special cleaner just for lead dust. A regular all-purpose cleaner, like 409 or something similar, is sufficient for cleanup. Just make sure to follow the manufacturer's directions when using it and to dilute with water.

Hazardous waste is waste that poses a threat to human or environmental health. This generally refers to waste that is flammable, corrosive, toxic, or reactive. To confirm if the waste you need to remove is considered hazardous waste, contact your local hazardous waste facility.

While the EPA provides guidelines for homeowners to perform DIY lead paint removal, it is a risky process and generally not recommended due to serious health risks and strict regulatory requirements. The process requires precise safety precautions, such as wearing a respirator and protective eyeglasses, creating sealed exits, and using a HEPA vacuum for cleanup. To ensure the job is done safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations, it is highly recommended to hire a professional lead abatement company. Certified professionals have the necessary training, experience, and specialized equipment (like chemical strippers and HEPA vacuums) to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.
