"Wow!!!  Fernando did a fantastic dry carpet cleaning job!!  Before Fernando cleaned the carpet, we had all kind of stains caused by drink, paint, ink, arts and crafts, candy, pets, kids, etc... The stains are all gone now.  He saved us a lot of money as before Fernando cleaned this carpet, thought we were going to have to tear it all out and replace it.  Again, now it looks brand new!!! No more stains.  I highly recommend Fernando and his company.  Also, highly recommend dry carpet cleaning rather than the usual water way.

"Allen Floors catered to my every need.  They agreed to install carpet hours after closing on my new home.  When that day changed, the day before, they quickly adjusted.  This happened twice!  I wouldn't have ever expected this, but was certainly happy that they made it work for me, especially since I had movers coming in hours later.  The carpet choices were vast, and for me working in Allen, their storefront was very conveniently located.  Highly recommend doing business with Allen Floors.

"They were very professional and did the job quickly without a hassle. The only problem I had was told that some areas of the carpet would be completely dry in a couple of hours, but they did not. It took two days for the carpet to dry completely. Everything else was very satisfactory."

"Overall I had a good experience with this vendor, the quality of work is
good. Although the carpet quality is not as good as what I expected because
I never inspected the sample in person, just see the picture. Price is
reasonable since this is my rental property. The crew didn't clean up
the property well initially. After I asked them to do it, they did it
briefly.

"It was a very good experience for having to tear up the house and moving everything off the floor. The padding included was 8 inches thick when 6 inches is what is normally included. We dealt with Kyle and he could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful if he tried. He left samples with me for probably much longer than was necessary because he wanted us to be happy with our choice of carpet. He made helpful suggestions and had lots of good advice, yet was never pushy or "know it all." Unfortunately, the measurement was not correct and we had to wait for more carpet to arrive, but it only took 3 days and as soon as it came in, the company showed up immediately to install it. I would most definitely use Copelands again and in fact, I have already recommended them to two other people."

Carpet Stretching questions, answered by experts

Yes, carpets should be replaced after a house fire or significant smoke damage, even if they appear undamaged. Smoke, soot, particulates, and chemicals can penetrate deep into the carpet fibers and padding, making complete removal a complicated and time-consuming process. If water was used to extinguish the fire, it can also soak through the carpet and padding, creating a risk of mold and mildew growth. Due to these challenges and potential health risks, replacing the carpet is the safest and most effective solution.

Carpet stretching can be a worthwhile investment to increase the lifespan of your carpet and eliminate unsightly wrinkles, ridges, and ripples. For an older carpet that is in relatively good condition aside from some wrinkling or bubbling, restretching can make it look like new and extend its life by at least a couple of years. You should consider restretching when you notice looseness or other related issues.

However, it's important to note that stretching will not fix issues like stains, wear in the pile, or discoloration. Consider replacing the carpet instead if the repair cost is more than 50% of the price of a new one. Additionally, if your carpet is past its expected lifespan of five to 15 years, or if it has been stretched multiple times already, replacement is likely a better option.

Vomit contains organic fluids along with whatever else comes out with it. When left without cleaning, vomit, and its odor can reach deep into carpet fibers and become very difficult to remove without a deep cleaning. In some cases, the combination can cause permanent carpet staining.

Vacuum regularly, clean spills promptly, and schedule professional deep cleaning annually.

Regular vacuuming is essential in homes with animals and children to remove pet hair, dirt, and debris from the carpet's surface. Additionally, prompt cleaning of spills and accidents can prevent stains from setting in. Consider using carpet protectors or area rugs in high-traffic areas to minimize wear and tear on your new carpeting.
