We were very well pleased with them. We’re going to call them for some more, to do the master bedroom and the closet early next year. We were well pleased with everything.

One guy was nice and easy to work with. They didn't take care to watch where they were stepping or where materials were going. I had to ask them at one point to put something down to protect  my carpets. I didn't think they did a good job with the grout. It was darker in some places and lighter in others. They messed up some of the quarter round in my bathroom as well.

We found this company at the Fort Worth Home and Garden Show, so we assumed that they were a company we could depend on to do a good job. We went to their showroom and picked out the wood we wanted to have installed, which was a "show special".  A day and time was agreed on for the job and we were excited to get our new floors installed.  Since we are not a young couple, we arranged for movers to come and move the furniture out of the rooms that were being redone, which created a necessary but temporary inconvenience for us that was only supposed to last a couple of days.

The demo of the existing floors was very difficult and messy.  The crew arrived around 10 am and worked hard all day at demo.  They did not finish the demo on day one as originally anticipated.  Also, they were quite messy and left fingerprints and dings on the walls and baseboards, they opened the windows without asking us, the homeowners, even though the air conditioning was turned on and turned down very cold, and then when they left, they never bothered to close the windows as they found them.  They also sat on the window sills even though the windows have expensive shutters installed and are not to be used as chairs.  They also left their shovels and large demo tools leaning on the walls, leaving some scrape marks on the walls, which we asked them not to do. They left wood debris from the demos inside the windows, on the windowsills, and inside the fireplace. The crew were all very young and we attributed this to their age and resulting lack of experience and professionalism.

On day two, they showed up and finished demo on the old floors and began installing the new floors.  They did not finish installing the new floors until close to 6 pm on a Friday evening, and they left without cleaning up the floors.  The owner (Josh) was called and asked why the floors were left covered with dust and debris, and Josh said "We don't clean floors".  Josh was questioned on how the floors could be left looking so dirty when our past experience with other floor companies is that they take pride in leaving the floors clean and beautiful, and Josh stated again that "we don't clean floors and we never said we would".  First of all, we didn't realize that was a question that NEEDED to be asked when agreeing to hire this company, because every time in the past that any type of remodeling work was done in our home, the crew doing the work cleaned up their mess.  Not this time!  Josh told us that we needed to mop the floors with Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner or some other type floor cleaner.  We asked him to at least come and take a look at the floors to see what we were complaining about, but all he did was give his number so we could text pictures to him.  He never agreed to come to our home to see it in person.  So after that phone call, we mopped the floors two times with Bona Cleaner but they still looked awful, with a white film and residue (see pictures attached).  And, since these floors were hand-scraped, the white residue and dust was all in the distressed areas and cracks in the floor and it looked terrible!  So we took pictures of the floors from all angles, and also took pictures of the walls where the crew had left their marks.

On Saturday morning, all these pictures were sent to Josh via text to the number he gave us, which was followed by a series of text messages between Josh (the business owner) and the us (the homeowners).  After seeing the pictures, Josh responded that it looked like an excess glue issue, not a dust issue.  How are we, as homeowners, expected to know this???  If the floors had been cleaned before the crew left, they would have noticed all the excess glue everywhere and known that it needed to be cleaned up!!!  After seeing the pictures, Josh agreed to send his crew back to our home on Monday.  At the conclusion of the texting conversation, Josh inadvertently sent a text to us, the homeowners, that he had intended to send to his crew, and in this text he was joking about how the homeowners "don't like us cause we don't clean floors LOL".  Afterwards he realized what he had done and apologized to us (via text) and told us he meant to send that text to his crew.  We replied that we thought it was very unprofessional and insulting for him to be making a joke about our situation.

With nothing to be done to resolve our floor situation until Monday, that left us living in disarray for the rest of the weekend, which was totally inconvenient.  During the back and forth text conversation with Josh (no, he never picked up the phone to call us), there were three times he referenced sending the crew to our home on Monday MORNING!  However, the crew did not show up on Monday morning, so we called the office and were told it would be after 2 pm on Monday afternoon before they could come because they were out on another job.  By 3:15, we were tired of waiting and tired of getting the run-around and we called our credit card company and initiated a merchant dispute, which caused a chargeback to Josh's company's account for the amount that we had paid for the floors.  The credit card company told us not to drop the complaint until we were happy, and to fill out a form and send it in with the pictures we had taken and they would take care of it for us.

Finally about 5 pm on Monday, the crew showed up, but of the four crew members, two never got out of the truck.  When the other two came to the door, we asked them to remove their shoes and not walk on our brand new floors in their shoes, but they refused.  Of the two of them who came in, it was the crew's foreman, Aaron, who did the majority of all the work.  He had to use mineral spirits to get the excess glue off the floor, and then he had to use two different types of floor cleaner (Bona and Mohawk) after that to remove the film left over from the mineral spirits.  He also had to use ALOT of elbow grease to get the glue off the floor and to get all the dust out of the cracks.  He got a lot of the excess glue off the floor, but not all of it, nor did he get all the film off the floor, but he still left after about an hour, even though the floor still had some excess glue here and there, and there was still some film on it from the mineral spirits.  It was better, yes, but still had a ways to go.

After the crew left, we spent another two hours of mopping and cleaning to try to get the floor looking like it should have looked all along.  We finally got the floor to the point where we can stand it, but we still occasionally see places where we need to clean it again with the mineral spirits to get the glue spots off.  It is very frustrating that we have been put in this position after paying so much money to have nice floors.

Also, we were charged $100 for "undercutting the fireplace" which was not done.  When we asked for a refund of that $100, Josh told us to call the office and get them to cut us a check.  The girl at the office wrote us a check that we then took to Josh's bank, who would not cash it because of INSUFFICIENT FUNDS!  We texted Josh to tell him his check was no good, and he apologized and told us to try again the next day, which was Friday.  So instead of taking a couple of days, it took over a week to get our floors installed and cleaned and get a refund of the money we paid for something that wasn't done, and get our movers back to our home to put all our furniture back in place.

Would we use this company again?  Absolutely NOT!  And we wouldn't recommend them to anyone!  Aaron, the crew leader or foreman or whatever he is, told us they NEVER clean floors wh

From beginning to end:
No home remodeling projuect is going to go as smoothly as you plan but I think this one went pretty good. There were a few hiccups in communication but nothing too serious to where I would not recommend them or use this company again.
I'd met with  Furniture N Floors at one of the Fort Worth Home and Garden shows. I wasn't overly impressed with the selection that was displayed but I was captivated by their customer service skills. It took me some time to get out to their showroom and once I did, I found plenty of samples that I liked. Lesson: What they have at theses shows are a small portion of what they have in their showroom. Once I got there I met Josh the owner. He was great. He set up a measurement appointment for that evening with Bryan. Bryan's previous appointment completed a little early so he headed to my house. Well I wasn't home. He waited on me for about 45 minutes! He didn't complain at all. He came right in and we talked and he measured. Because the price was a little higher than I expected (and more than I wanted to pay), he measured my home 3 more times. This was to make sure he was being accurate. I had 4 other quotes...some higher and some lower. But in all my other quotes, my measurements were way less than what he'd measured.  Well we talked over the final price and I signed the contract. I had to pay 1/2 down to get started.
And the Work Begins:
One week later their installation team arrived to start demolition of my existing floors. Once the installation team arrived and completed their demo, I found out (after they'd alreadey poured the cement) that my floor had to be leveled. So there was an extra charge for this. FYI, please ask about extra cost. Although my contract specified a final cost on it ( and yes it did say FINAL COST), there are some hidden charges that are not in the contract. I was told there was a charge to use a credit card. I used a debit card and credit card (in my mind these are different) so I thought the charge would be on the portion only charged to the credit card. Nope, it was applied to the final cost which was not what I charged on the credit card. This was not in my contract so I was actually charged double of what I had planned on paying for surcharge fees. To conclude the demo day, the team does clean up everything. Please if you have little children, ask them to put everything in the garage, if possible. I  have 2 little ones and there were baseboards with nails in them neatly placed around my house. but the nails were sticking up...exposed. We had to ask them to at least put the saw and other dangerous tools in the garage.  On day 2 of the remodel, the installation team arrived and laid the floors. I can still hear the angels sing. They did a fantastic job. It really turned out nice.
Through out this process I must say that whatever my concerns were, the entire team promptly addressed them. At the end of the remodeling, I received a followup call from Josh (owner) and Bryan (sales) to ensure that I was satisfied with the final product. And yes I really am. They did a good job. My husband and I are already discussing other areas that need attention and guess who we're going to get to do it? FURNITURE N FLOORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The installers were very polite and did a great job. This company is run by 2 men, and it was a little difficult coordinating a visit to the showroom (it's only open when they're there and they are there sporadically. Once the flooring was chosen and an estimate prepared, one of the gentlemen told me it would be Wednesday, January 15th. However, the next day, their secretary called and told me there was someone already scheduled on Wednesday, but it wasn't on their scheduler. So it was moved to Friday the 17th. Other than the miscommunication, it was a good experience.

Josh and his team did a very good job for us. We were working under a very tight timeline, and had several challenges to overcome, but in the end, we are happy with the finished product. We had 3 bids, and Josh's was, by far, the most affordable. It took us a while to find the exact carpet I wanted, but Josh jumped through many hoops to get me what I wanted, which I really appreciated. I was put into direct contact with the hardwood installer crew, which made me feel very comfortable. I'm very hands on when it comes to remodeling in my house, especially when my husband puts me in charge of it, and this was a first for me. This company is fairly small, so expect some nuances associated with small companies. However, the positives outweighed the negatives for sure. I have already referred them to another family, and would choose to work with them again if given the opportunity. Thank you very much, Josh & team!

It took awhile to do it because we were getting ready for the floors to be done and the bathroom redone.  They were very good in working with us to hold it off for almost four months before they were able to put the floor down.  They were good in working with us to re- schedule that.  They did a nice job and we were very happy with what they did.  They are busy at times and sometimes it's hard to get hold at them.  However, they are willing to give their personal cell phone number so they respond by text massage which is fine with me.  They are somehow good at communicating.

It went great.  They came on time and the two guys were very good and hard workers.  They removed the old carpet and cleaned the floor if needed and moved out any furniture that was needed to be moved.  They then started working on both rooms installing the flooring.  They did an awesome job and cleaned up very well and hauled off the old carpet when they were done.
Josh returned phone calls or text very fast and always had information for what I was asking.  We will use them again to change out the carpet in our bedroom next.
I would recommend them to anyone that is needing this type of work done.

Compared with several installers and received one of the lowest quotes from Furniture N' Floors.  Installers were great, very respectful of our home and did a quality job.  I am considering getting some tile work done and I will call Furniture N' Floors for that as well.  I would recommend them.

It went very well working with Shawn.  There was a small delay due to circumstances out of there control, but Shawn made sure everything went well.  Carpet installers were very nice, they did an incredible job, very neat, quiet and quick.  Shawn is really nice to work with, I would highly recommend him.  Oh and the carpet, really really nice carpet at an amazing price.

They came out right away to give an estimate for the work and scheduled the job very quickly. Work was to start at 10:00 on Friday morning, but the guys called around noon and said they were delayed at the warehouse. So work did not actually begin until around 1:30. The first day consisted of removing some old hardwood in the entry, hall and dining room and removing carpet from the other areas. Then the floor had to have a leveling compound put down in several places and left to dry overnight. The hardwood installation was to begin around 9:30 the next morning, but the guys didn't show up until around noon. I had my doubts that the job would be completed that day since they got a late start. But to my surprise, by around 7:00 they were finished and packing up. We are very pleased with the job and the mess was kept to as little as possible. Still very dusty and a lot of cleanup required, but I don't see how floors are replaced without there being a big mess involved. The guys helped us put the felt pads on the furniture and set the big items back in place. The only complaint I had during the process was the lateness of them getting started each day, but as it turned out, they had it all under control. There were five installers and they each worked very hard and quickly so they knew what they were doing. They stopped only once to have a bite to eat and worked very hard the rest of the time.

original estimate of sq ft needed was about 60 sqft short added expense $400.00, which Shawn Thompson(owner) said he would eat. I agreed `to split cost which he happily accepted. Ran into one other unforeseen problem when entry tile removal showed uneven concrete base which had to be fixed with self leveling cement which needed to dry over night and added an additional 1/2 day to a one day project. Finished the project by midafternoon the next day and were cleaned up and out by 5pm. Did a great job on floor and baseboards, and even left the unused flooring and baseboard materials with us. Will definitely use them again and plan to have them do the dining room this fall

I purchased a "Big Deal" that gave me $ off.  I didn't use it for a long time, but when I was ready to, I was very pleased.  The store is not too far from my home, so I went in and looked at a lot of options.  I wasn't sure if I wanted laminate or wood, but finally settled on wood.  Mike was great in pulling out all kinds of samples for me to compare next to each other.  I finally decided on the one I started with, but now felt very sure instead of "probably."  I was grateful that he took the time.  He came to the house to measure the area to be sure they ordered the right amount, and he warned me that the installation was going to be a dusty affair--just so I'd be prepared, which I was also grateful for.
We settled on an installation date on a Saturday, which was great for me.  Aaron showed up right on time with a team.  He showed me a sample first, thankfully.  It turned out to be the right floor but the wrong color!  The company tried to find the right floor, but since it was a Saturday, it was a no-go, so the installation was postponed until the next Saturday.  However, Aaron asked if it would be OK to rip up the old flooring since they were already there.  I readily agreed since I had planned the time and I knew this would take less time out of the next Saturday.  The removal was noisy and dusty as advertised, but the crew did a great job.  They moved the bed and bookcase very carefully, then put them back so I wouldn't be too inconvenienced during the week.  They left the bare concrete smooth and ready to go for the next week.
The installation the next Saturday took only two folks, and Aaron and I kept in touch about the timing (since I had another appointment elsewhere that morning).  He arrived with the right floor and proceeded to do the installation.  They moved the bed and bookcase as necessary but didn't need to move them from the room.  The installation was beautiful, and now it's weeks later and I'm still happy.  The job went great and I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

A representative came out within a couple days of my call to measure and discuss what I wanted done.  He had some samples of flooring from which I selected the one I thought was the best for my color preferences.  He was very helpful in describing the different types of wood flooring and the longevity and warranty of each type.  Since I have a dog who lives indoors it was suggested that laminate would be the better choice.  The job was scheduled within a week's time.
Installers arrived about 1 hour late but it was due to miscommunication in address location.  Once there, they went right to work moving furniture and ripping out carpet.  Aside from taking a lunch break, they worked continually until the job was completed and accomplished it all in 1 day.  They cleaned up very well following completion of the job and were very courteous workers.  I am very pleased with the job done and would not hesitate to call them for future jobs.

It was okay. Initially, when they installed our hardwood they didn't order enough wood and then it took them a week and a half to get additional wood in. Other than that, it was fine. They were very affordable. I would say the quality of their work is good, not awesome. We have some gaps in our hardwood. I would unlikely recommend them to somebody else. The best part about them was that they were very affordable but their work was so so.

First, I purchased the coupon for 100 sq ft of flooring repair/sanding in February.  After numerous calls, I could not get them to respond to my requests for an appointment.  Finally, I called them and asked, "Do you intend to come at ANY time to do the work on this coupon?"  They asked for pictures, I sent them, and they finally came to my home ~ April 8.  I was in the hospital, because I had broken an ankle.  However, I had a team of people in the house working on packing, as I am selling my home soon.  I told them in detail where the places to be repaired were and what needed to be done.
When I returned from the hospital, I had a 'tiger stripe' on my floor.  I was taken to view it and I was really upset about the look of the floor and the lack of quality in the work.  After I felt a bit better, I called Furniture 'N' Floors to notify them that I was unsatisfied with the quality of the work.  It looked worse than before!!  The first person I talked to said he would notify the manager.  After a couple of weeks of silence, I called again, and asked for the manager.  I spoke to him about the job, and told him about the 'tiger stripes' and lack of quality.  I told him that one floor contractor brought in by my realtor asked, "What in the world happened to your floor?" when he saw it.  I communicated this to the manager, and he asked what the work scope was supposed to be, and what I had paid for the coupon.  When I told him the coupon was for '100 square feet for $99', he actually said, "Well, you get what you pay for."  I responded that if that were the case, and I hired him to 'color between the lines' and he colored 'outside the lines', it wouldn't matter to him because I 'got what I paid for".  When I told him about the other floor contractor and his comments, the Furniture 'N' Floors manager told me that their work was 'guaranteed' and he and some of his staff would come to see my floor on the next day (Thursday).  I was home all day, because with a broken ankle, you're home all day anyway.  He said, "Don't sign anything with anyone else, because they will try to get you under contract."  Thursday came and went, and we did not get a call or a visit from the Furniture N' Floors management team.
After that, I just decided that I had wasted good money on a bad company.  If they don't want to do a small job, why advertise for it?  My thinking is that they just want to sell new installations.  However, if you can't do work you can be proud of on a small job, you are not a reputable company, in my opinion.   I have had many contractors here at the house, and the people at 'Furniture 'N' Floors are the worst.  They should be ashamed of the work they did on my floor.  I have hired another contractor to fix it.

Took some time for us to make a decision on flooring and installers.  FNF is some distance from our home but we made the trip to look at wood after we saw their Angies Big Deal.  It had already expired but Shawn was confident they could help us pick something else out.  FNF is a small shop but from our sample Josh was able to select and suggest an engineered wood that would blend with our current wood since it was discontinued.  I worked primarily with Shawn who has enormous patience and was willing to answer all my questions and concerns about their experience installing floating engineered wood floors.  After several weeks we decided to go forward and the wood was delivered and then installed a few days later.  The only reason I did not give A's in quality and professionalism was because it was difficult to communicate with the installers and my concerns about the way the floor was being prepped and underlayment was going down were not initially addressed.  After a call to Shawn the problem was corrected and he assured me FNF would stand behind the product and labor.  I would do business with FNF again because of Shawn's hands on attitude and patience however it's important to be specific about your expectations when the installers arrive.

It went excellent.  The floor looks good. Got a quote from vendor by giving him dimensions of room.  Gave him the go ahead and team came out as scheduled.  There were some scratches on the entryway to the bedroom that showed after staining that my wife asked to fix.  They fixed the situation and finished the project.  Good workers and good people to work with.
