"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."

"BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR! I was duped by this company! Told me the installation of my single front iron door would be $255/hr for 1 hr possible 2 hours for 2 people. This install was 7 hours for each person or 14 hours which cost me over $1300 to install 1 door. The door was already prehung. The 2 men were walking around wasting time, pretending to look for parts such as door handles which were right in front of them in the box. This is deceptive, false advertising, and will be reported to the BBB. They didn’t even get my confirmation/approval for additional hours or work! I will NEVER use their services again. Duped!"

No supervision of job done by people working for him. Some of them truly beginners with not experience. The tilers not even protected my house floors, I had to take care of making sure they didn't stain them. It was a truly mess for many many weeks. A nightmare. The grout of shower is already turning yellow after a couple of months. Very unprofessional. Ultimately the cost was the same as any major contractor but with very poor results. Do not recommend at all! Just to provide a couple of examples see disaster made by one of them just to install a handle in a drawer! . Also pictures of caulking that started cracking the next day they left."
