They are a good company to go with.

I had used Hogan (gotten from Angies list) before and was semi-happy. This time I called as I needed urgent help. I called the office and left several messages, no response. I called another number I had which turned out to be Brad's cell number. He responded immidiately and sent someone by. That was great and stopped the leak. However after that the problems started. It took forever to get someone back. Everytime I called the office lady was rude. To this day I have NOT gotten a final answer to what was repaired, what all was done. I still have an empty pipe sticking out of the ground and no response. I got a bill, to which I replied (bill came via email) with a list of questions. I resent the email twice. No response. I am NOT happy and will NOT use them again.

The workers at Hogan Irrigation are hard to get an appointment with, they are very busy. Their prices are fine. The quality of their work is good. They are very professional and punctual. I would use them again.

They gave me a reasonable estimate, came when they said, and did the work. The workers made a good effort to clean up after themselves. Someone came by again later and explained everything to me and dropped off a record drawing and reviewed the operation. Everything works fine.

I chose Hogan because I saw great reviews on this site. During my military days when people rated those below them there often was what we called "right washing", which meant everyone got good reviews. In general that is what I have found on Angie's List. My experience with Hogan was poor from the beginning. I left at least three messages before my service prior to contacting them when I called again. We scheduled the visit and I was advised there would be a trip charge ($60 I believe). The technician met with my wife and seemed helpful. She asked what the charge would be and he told her the final bill would come from the office. He didn't say that there was any problem other than to confirm that there was an area that was not getting water. We didn't' get a bill for roughly 45 days later. The bill was for $275. I called to ask for an itemized explanation of the bill so I can understand how it went from the $60 to $275. I asked why we didn't get an explanation at the time of the job if something needed to be fixed. I have never had someone come to do an inspection and then repair something without being advised it needed repair. Hogan told me that is their policy to do all work at the time because otherwise there would be another trip charge if they gave an estimate. I have no problem with that. I do have a problem with essentially being asked to sign a blank check without an explanation. What stops them for sending a bill that said $1,000 or $10,000? I was supposed to get a call back with an explanation over 2 weeks ago. I have since left 3 messages including one that finally said that I was going to post here about my experience if I hadn't heard anything. My next step is likely contacting the BBB. Interesting the bill said the area not being covered needed 8 heads. If I understand what a head is I don't think that is accurate. It is a small corner of the yard. It makes me wonder if I even got the correct bill for my property, especially since the invoice was sent so long after the service. I hope to get this matter resolved. I was contacted by Hogan after I posted this. They explained that there was another local outfit using the same name and they felt I may have left messages with them. I will allow that that was possible. They also understood my concern about not being advised of any problems at the time of the original job. They said they will consider this for all future jobs and did work with me on a fair payment. They were very courteous on the return phone call.

This company was terrible. I called them up to have them give me an estimate and they didn't come for quite awhile. I needed a new controller so I purchased that and put it in myself. When the installer came out to make an estimate, he was under the impression that it was an installation job not a repair. He said they could repair the system but they didn't like to do that kind of work. What needed to be done was new heads moved, new drip lines in order to water more efficiently, add some heads where there was no coverage and repair a valve. When the man came out to do the work, the first thing he did was put in a new controller. I happened to see that and told him to put the other one back, it was only a week old. He partially did some of the work and then left. No one came back until I called them a couple of weeks later. They came back out and did some more work but not all of it. I never knew when they were coming so had left a note for them to call me when they were there. They never called me. They did not install any new heads or move the ones I had asked them to do nor did they install the drip lines in correctly. On the rental place, I wanted them to fix some heads on the water system. They came out and put on a new head which was by the driveway. The next time we used the system, the head blew. The company tried to tell me that someone had run over the head, but there happened to be a solar light next to the head that had not been broken. The owner came out then and we checked the overall efficiency of the system, the zones and adjusted some heads. I wanted some new heads put in at the side of the house that watered in strips and not touch the neighbor's fence. I had to call back and remind them that this is what I wanted done and please do it. They went out and put in new head that watered 360 degrees, thus watering my neighbor's fence, which he wasn't happy about. So my partner installed the new heads that I wanted. I was very disgusted with this company and their run around and lack of doing the job correctly.

Our original irrigation contractor fell through at the last minute, and we needed someone to perform the work the next day to keep our project on schedule. Hogan sent someone out the next day. He was prompt and very knowledgeable. He had to come back the next day because he was missing some supplies; however, he could not have anticipated what he would have needed based on our original service request. He arrived right on time the next morning, and finished later that day.

I wasn't home the last time they came but they adjusted everything to my satisfaction. There are two sprinkler heads that aren't the best adjustments, so I think next time I will need to be there to point out anything specific. Generally they are good, punctual, and a reasonable cost.

The job went very well. In fact, Hogan Irrigation was the only company (out of 4) to respond to my bid request. Eric met me at the church and did a walkthrough of the property. We had to wait a few months to put in the sprinklers (while we raised the money). Eric never called me to bug me about the proposal. He told me to take my time and he'd be ready when we were. When we were ready, I called Eric and we were scheduled very quickly. The job was done in one day.

He found the break in the line and repaired it so everything was up and running. I was very happy with the price. There was no problem with the quality of their work. I would highly recommend them.

The one time I used them they were very prompt in their response and courteous. Someone came out when they said they would and they did a good job. I would use them again.

I would recommend them very highly to anyone. They were very professional and very easy to work with. They returned all my calls and they were very prompt and on time. They knew what they were doing. They fixed the problem and checked out the sprinkler system.

I thought that they were very good. They were on time and their pricing was very reasonable. The work they did was also done very well and I have not had any problems with our system since then.

I liked them because the work was done fast and the owner cane out to see what needed to be done and they did what was told and the only thing was that they didn't return my calls very well.

When I started using the sprinkler system this year, I found I had one nozzle missing in the front lawn, resulting in a geyser. I had used Hogan Irrigation before, been very pleased with their service, and didn't hesitate to call them again. They were able to schedule an appointment within the week, and their service man called a half hour before the appointed arrival time, as was promised. I showed him the broken head, and mentioned my concern that certain of the other heads were being blocked by the growth of ground cover, and asked if they might not need adjustment. He replaced the missing nozzle, and the checked the entire system, finding other heads and nozzles that were not operating properly. He also raised several heads to account for the growth of the ground cover. He also checked the programming and operation of my control unit. After a disappointing experience with another company two years ago, I called Hogan based on its Angie's list recommendations, and when they arrived I was pleased to find that they were the firm that had installed my system for the previous home owners. They were able to locate the main water shutoff valve, which was hidden beneath ground cover, which turned out to be very important when I suffered a broken pipe later that year. At that time, Hogan responded VERY promptly, sending a more senior company representative to handle the situation because other service technicians were in the midst of other jobs. I'll never call anyone else for lawn irrigation problems!

They came as soon as I called. Even though I talked to several people after that, they gave me the minimum. The quote and was right on with what I was told it would cost. Once I signed a contract they came promptly and then installed it. I would use them again.

Called Hogan Irrigation for an estimate on Tuesday. Eric Wise returned my call and came out to the house on Wednesday and provided me with a proposal and bid that I considered reasonable and accepted on the spot. Eric and his crew showed up early Thursday morning and were done about noon. The crew took the time to test and adjust the sprinkler heads and clean up after themselves before leaving.

I was disappointed because according to Angie's List they are a good company but if you cannot reach them they are not so good. Being able to reach a service provider is critical for me as a consumer and as a consumer we do have choices!!

The technician was prompt, knowledgeable and friendly.

The experience I had with Hogan Irrigation was a pleasant one. They were easy to get an appointment with and came out promptly. In my opinion the price is quite reasonable. I give them my recommendation.

This is a good company for lawn sprinkler repairs. Easy to contact. Easy to make an appointment. They were able to come out and replace our sprinkler control box, which had been shorted out by a lightning strike, within a week of being called. Courteous, professional service. Also, checked the rest of the system, including the sprinkler heads to ensure everything else was in good shape. They did a nice job -- very pleased with the new control box. I recommend them!

I was looking around and they were the only ones who responded to my calls. They are priced reasonably and it is very hard to find people in this area to come out and do work. This is a company that you can count on and I would definitely recommend them.

The leak was a very slow drip and there was no emergency. Even so, the company sent someone out the SAME DAY to fix the leak. This entailed coming to my house and figuring out what the problem was, leaving to obtain new pipes to fix the cracked ones with and returning within the hour. The problem was diagnosed and fixed properly for a very reasonable price. This service far exceeded my expectations both in timeliness and price.

Called Hogan's Irrigation in morning and they were at my house later that day. German tested my system and improved sprinkler output and replaced or repaired 6 sprinkler heads. This system came with my house, so German gave me a lesson on how to program it. If anything they repaired does not work properly, Hogan's will come out to fix it.
