"Called ahead to let me know, when the technician was going to be a little later than the schedule. Called again, once the tech was on his way. He diagnosed the issues and fixed everything in a timely manmer. Very professionally explained all of his findings and suggestions clearly, along with cost estimate for all the work. Quality work and great communication. Not the cheapest, but I will gladly hire them again! Thanks for your great work."

"I think they treated the wrong lawn. The note they sent me via text message referenced trees and shrubs in my yard, I have none. They also did not leave a yard marker showing they had been there. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review."

"Tony responded quickly and came out to assess the property. The other two I called were asking for $75/$85 up font. I felt like Tony gave professional recommendations AND listened to my goals and budget to come up with a service plan that fit me. He also took the time to review the control box with me and show me the status of each of the stations after he and his son completed the work. I showed a genuine interest in what he was explaining to set my lawn up for success not trying to add-on just for business. The work was over $800 but after 15 years of no maintenance on the sprinkler heads and 2 leaks found; worth it to me. I definitely will call Montiel's Sprinklers for any future needs."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

Depending on the method you choose to remove grass, it may or may not matter whether the grass is wet or dry when you perform the task. A dryer lawn will be easier to negotiate with a sod cutter, especially if you're not planning to reuse the turf. However, using a shovel by hand might be a little easier if the ground is slightly damp but not so much that it sticks to the tool.

Professional services offer efficient, safe waste and junk removal, ensuring legal compliance and environmental responsibility. Professionals handle items systematically, disposing of them properly or recycling, which contributes to clutter reduction and enhanced property safety.

Experts remove leaves methodically, preventing mold and allowing sunlight to strengthen grass, promoting robust growth.

In the fall, you should aerate the soil, overseed the bare spots, kill weeds, mow the lawn low, and rake your leaves. By boosting your lawn’s health in the fall, your grass will be stronger throughout the winter and come back healthier in the spring. You should also trim your perennials so that they withstand the winter and are ready for new growth in the spring.

Trimming or removing trees promotes safety, prevents interference with structures or utilities, and enhances the aesthetic and health of the property landscape.
