"Tyler came in and immediately said the fly issue wasn't from a broken or separated pipe under the slab. He checked the bottom of the toilet and found a small leak. Removing the toilet showed the flange was installed incorrectly 23 years ago by another plumber which caused the flange to break and cause the leak. Adam came in to replace the flange and install a new updated toilet. His photos confirmed that the flange was installed correctly and the toilet works great. He showed up on the afternoon that we closed on house and got us hot water going. we did not have new toilets on site so we had to set those ourselves but he did a good job of getting everything ready for them.

This started out as a project so my MIL could get her walker into the ground level bathroom. The door size was increased from 24 Inches to 32 inches. To make more room in the bathroom, it was necessary to have the door open outward.
My wife did the actual acquisition of a compact sink, new toilet, grab bars, new 32 inch door etc.  She also ordered a new medicine cabinet, storage cabinet, Bamboo flooring and worked day to day with the workmen.
The existing bathroom was gutted to the bare walls and floor.
The contractor then removed wallpaper, made the walls look like plaster to match the other walls in our house.
The contractor then painted the walls and installed all the items to make it a new bathroom.
Several workmen were involved in the remodel. They were all professional and courteous.
The remodel took about a week.
There was a minor problem with a small leak in the new sink drain. They promptly came back and corrected the problem.
The company owner came by daily to make sure all was going according to plan.
Pay close attention when the job is nearing completion. Make sure they don't get in a rush to complete the job. Point out any discrepancies. 
I am completely satisfied with the job. It is difficult to remodel a half bath so that it is accessible to someone who uses a walker.
