I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."

The wood under the threshold was completely rotted. Adi made 3 trips to the local hardware store to get the right materials to replace everything that needed replacing. No shortcuts. When I noticed some gapping the next day, he came right back and made adjustments. The door is seated securely and looks great. Overall, quick, gracious, knowledgeable, and professional. "The job went very smoothly. The tech ran a bit late, but he called to say so. He installed a keypad by the front door and assessed the house for security. He suggested, since there are several casement windows in the living room and adjoining dining room that a breaking glass sensor would work better and be more cost-effective than alarming all the windows. He did alarm a door that the previous company (inherited when we bought the house twenty-three years ago) had not considered significant. I feel safer with the current sensor choices than the ones I had before.
He took the time to make sure I knew how to use the system, so I am very pleased with the service. My one caveat: I was told that the motion sensor would not register my smaller pets (two cats) because they weigh under forty pounds. They must have set off the sensor, though, because the police responded. The system certainly alerts the authorities, but that motion sensor is very sensitive!

"Wow, wow, wow! I can't say enough about the quality of Monty's work! He fixed both issues with my house in a very timely and cost-effective manner. He is one of the most honest and knowledgeable persons I have ever met and the quality of his work is exceptional. The brick archway above my front door was severely cracked and pulling away from the house. He was able to repair it for considerably much less than removing and rebuilding it.
