"The crew worked diligently and professionally every day. Even the salesman was actively involved in the insulation work, which demonstrated the company's commitment to quality. The project was completed within the expected timeframe, and the pricing was fair and reasonable. Every member of the team was trustworthy, respectful, and courteous throughout the process. The quality of the finished insulation job was flawless and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of insulation services."

"Rep. checked entire system. He found several wires not connected properly and fixed this. He also made recommendations regarding the attachment of the panels to the rood that would provide more stability and leakproofing. The representative appeared to know what he was doing - much better than others, including the representative who was engaged by the roofer (who replaced our rood due to hail damage) to disconnect/connect the panels."

Insulation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use too much bubble wrap. If you overdo it with the wrapping, it can strain the top of your box and break open the taped seal, risking the chance that the contents of the box could fall out or break. Use enough wrapping to fully cover your item without compromising the security of your box.

Yes, products made from renewable resources and with reduced chemical impacts.

In addition to adding insulation to your attic, you may want to add a radiant barrier. A radiant barrier works by using reflective material, such as foil, on the attic floor. As heat penetrates the roof and enters the attic, the radiant barrier reflects the heat upward and back through the roof. If you receive a lot of direct sunlight on the roof, using both a radiant barrier and insulation in your attic can provide significant benefits.

You won’t find anything inside a cupola on a house because it’s hollow (think of an upside-down cup), allowing air to ventilate out of a roof via vents and light to come in via windows. They also usually have a base, vents around the middle (usually louvers), and a pointed cap at the top.

As long as a licensed professional installs your gas lines, you don’t have to do anything extra to prepare for cold weather. If there are pipes that require a wrap, your installer should have done it for you already. If you want to be absolutely sure your gas system is good to go for winter, the best option is to schedule a gas line inspection.
