"Texas Green Energy did a great job installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage for an EV Charging Station. After receiving several quotes from local companies I decided on Texas Green Energy and I’m so glad I did. Tommy and his crew came out quickly to give me an initial quote. Along with the quote he did a great job explaining the different options and walking me through exactly what the work would entail. After reviewing all the quotes I received, I decided to go with Texas Green Energy for several reasons. First, they have some really good reviews online and a friend of mine used them, to instal solar panels on his house, and highly recommended them. Second, they were very professional and did a great job communicating with me from the initial request for a quote all the way through the projects completion. Lastly, I felt very comfortable trusting that they would do things the right way. One example of that was on the day of the install Tommy, the project manager, told me he had forgot to include something in the original quote. I thought to myself, “oh boy he’s going to jack up the price on me.” To my surprise he told me that the price he quoted would be the price I would pay. I really appreciated that a handshake and a man’s word was something he really took to heart. On the day of the actual installation they showed up on time and everything went smoothly. The outlet works and looks great and if you didn’t know any better you’d think it had always been there. Before leaving they cleaned up, showed me which breaker in my electrical panel controlled it, and made sure I didn’t have any questions before they left. If you have an EV and want a level 2 charger installed, either hardwired or plug-in, then this is company to call."

Our salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful. "We are so happy to have picked CR Solar to do our ground-mount grid-tie solar installation. Chris was more than agreeable to our additional requests like having an extra conduit placed in the trench to the house, and he increased the wind load rating by having more concrete in larger drilled foundation pillars. The equipment, the inverter, conduit, disconnect box, was placed on the wall of the house in a very neat, organized manner. Also, Chris walked us through the paperwork with the power transmission company and the power company. He always showed up on time, as scheduled. Then a few years later, after trouble free operation, we thought there was a problem with the inverter. We called Chris, and he made an appointment for the next day to meet at the house. He determined the fuses in the breaker box out at the panels were blown and replaced them at that visit. CR Solar is a local company here to stay. We've had two other companies look at our wrought iron entry gate and had been told that it was our battery.  We replaced the battery, but continued to have problems with the gate opening.  I call Premier Entry Systems and spoke with Les and explained that it might be our solar panel.  He asked several questions and thought that could be the problem.  I asked or an approximate cost and he told me he would check and call me back.  He was quick to return the call with the cost and said he could have someone come to our house the next day.  He was informative, courteous and very helpful.

The next morning Kevin came at the time he told us he would and check the panel and indeed it was not holding a charge.  He also checked our battery and said it was okay.  He installed the new solar panel in a very short amount of time.  Again, he was informative and courteous. 

We could not have been happier with their services and will definitely use them in the future.  Our neighbors are having a similar problem and we will share our experience with them and hopefully they will use this good company as well.
