He told me: "Buddy, I have a used Master Cool, the same size as yours, it's used but in good condition. Can you do $700?, I'll install it and guarantee that you'll have no problems" I agree to the price and then he asked me how I cooled my Master bedroom.(a garage conversion). I told him that I only had that one unit to the whole house.He said "There's no way that your bedroom is cool! If you can do $800, I'll get you a 6500 CFM unit. You'll be getting cold with that one." I got the bigger cooler, but about a month later the motor stopped working; I bought a new one but I was unable to install it. I called Bruce, explained to him what happened and the following day he sent his crew to fix it. It turned out that they needed a new pulley and a new V-belt. When my wife asked how much was owed, they said it's nothing. The first time I met Bruce, and told him how much other people were charging; he told me: "Buddy, there's people making a killing in this business, I like to make a living. We are here to help and look after each other, and that's what I do." This man is a walking blessing to those who have had the opportunity to meet him. I will always recommend him to anyone. Two employees came on time and on date that I was promised.  Right away they begin removing old water heater and draining it.  They cleaned area before installing new water heater, which I was pleased with. They answered all my questions and they informed me that my water heater was going to be brought up to code.  Young man took time to show me what was going to be done.  They carry all parts with them so I didn't have to run to Lowes or Home depot to get parts before they got here.  The employees were very polite and professional.  They cleaned up the area very well after they were done too.  The young man showed me what was done before paying them.  Also, I was given an itemized invoice of all parts. The additional fee was $279.00 for parts and bring up to code.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
