We recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring TB Merit for our home renovation project and we cannot express how disappointed we are. The most glaring problem was the complete absence of communication. We often found ourselves with zero updates unless we initiated contact. Some of the subcontractors hired by TB Merit were completely inept. They exhibited a shocking lack of professionalism resulting in poor workmanship and additional delays. We expected that the subcontractors would take precautions to protect the existing floors, window and screens, prior to texturing the walls. But because they did not take these precautions there was overspray and damage. The entire project was marred by drama. Delays were frequent, and instead of addressing issues there was constant finger pointing among team members. Finally, instead of addressing our reasonable expectations for quality work, they chose to complain to subcontractors, which was both disrespectful and disappointing.

I reached out to TB Merit for a staircase renovation project. They were very helpful with the design and building regulations. Their ideas for the cloak room below the staircase were phenomenal. First class and very professional throughout the entire process.
