"I am posting this on behalf of my Tia Anita. She's an older lady who needed a gas line replaced this holiday season. Jay was nice enough to come out and give us a free estimate at then gave us a great price and did the work very quickly. Jay was absolutely a blessing to our family and I cannot recommend his work enough. Please call Jay if you need anything."

"Eddie Silva and his team at Cornerstone Masonry were exceptional! They removed brick and installed new brick on my home and it looks amazing! They cleaned up each day and were super respectful of my home. They also built a fireplace on my patio that far exceeded my expectations. Eddie kept in constant communication so I would know what to expect at each stage of the project. I am very happy with Cornerstone Masonry and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them for masonry jobs large or small."

"David and his crew installed new shrubs in front and back yard to replace freeze damaged plants. He also installed sod in the backyard. I am pleased with the work and will use New Growth again in the future. David communicated well on scheduling and project status. He worked hard to get the plants I wanted when nurseries had limited supplies."

"Great service. Fence was properly installed and looks great. Only complaint was that he was an hour late to start the project than when he said but that wasnâ t an issue at all. Ben was professional and quick with the installation."

"They did an awesome job in our backyard. The work was great and they got the job done quickly with no BS. Would definitely recommend! Planning on using them for future projects!"
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
