"First off...Ron called me back as I was on the phone leaving a message to contact me. He came by the same day to give me a quote. I thought the price was reasonable so we hired them to do landscaping on our front yard, they removed existing grass and old bushes and plants. They also cleaned up as they worked. They were extremely professional and did the work in a day and a half. The work crew was very courteous and my hat goes off to Travis and his crew. My yard now looks beautiful with the dead grass removed and resoded. New flower beds with a stacked stone border. Wow it is so beautiful! I highly recommend Stevens Landscaping."

"These guys were very reasonably priced and did fantastic work. They had to patch about 20 holes in sheetrock after a repiping and even though I saw the holes for myself I can't tell where the patches are when looking at each spot. Great patchwork and texturing matching. They also discovered some broken rafters in the garage when removing the drywall and reinforced those. They were very easy to deal with as we added items to the project, did the work quickly and very well."

"Responded quickly to bid request to replace siding on a chimney and facia boards. They did a good job reconstructing a chimney that had considerable water damage. They did a very good job and I would certainly use them again."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Using concrete footers is the best way to secure a gazebo on a deck without drilling. The weight of the footers is more likely to hold your gazebo in place than other methods. You can also pour concrete into flower pots to create an aesthetically pleasing concrete footer or use concrete columns to make a statement.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.
