"Sean and Erin were the first to respond to my job request on Angie’s List. I decided to use them for various reasons which included that prompt reply and their interest in my business ( glass blown art). They arrived on time and fixed each door exploring their individual issues. They evaluated an extra problem I had and recommended a solution. They will come back and give pointers to our son and the rest of our crew on how to lay ceramic flooring. We were lucky to find Sean and Erin, they will probably become part of our go to team for general repair solutions. Thanks so much for a job well done!"

"Dave Roundtree Handyman Services was able to send someone (Robert) out the very same day. Robert assembled a Filing Cabinet for me. He was very courteous & worked diligently. The project was much more complicated than we first thought, so it took a little longer. I was pleased with the results. And Dave’s price was very reasonable. I would definitely use Dave Roundtree Handyman Services again!"

"It went really  well overall and the end result is beautiful! Tommy worked with us from start to finish to give us what we wanted.
Our satisfaction was his goal from the start. He lived up to his references on Angie's list!
Per Tommy's direction you should have a clear picture of what you want and all the materials on site before the job starts.
We had a problem getting the tile that we ordered and had to switch to another type of tile in the middle of construction.
Tommy adjusted his schedule around us until the tile came in. We went on a 10 day vacation and left him the keys to the house, so we felt very comfortable with him and his crew.
Last but not least from a homeowner's perspective: everything costs more than you think! So be prepared to shop hard, know what you want, and listen to your contractor. Communication is key to being happy at the end.
Tommy always responded quickly and did what he said he would do.

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

If your seedlings have reached a few inches in height and the weather outside has stabilized to where you’re no longer seeing overnight temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, it may be time to start hardening them off to get them ready to be planted in the garden.

The time to install your basketball hoop depends on the type of hoop you're installing.

For in-ground hoops, it's best to allow at least five days total for the entire process, which includes any utility marking, hole excavation, anchor placement, concrete pouring and setting, and final setup of the hoop itself.

The time to set up a mounted basketball hoop is significantly shorter, with most projects completed in just a few hours.

It may be tempting to DIY the construction of a swing set to save money, but we don’t recommend it. Since children will use the swing set, the entire system must be solid and safe, meaning the cost savings aren’t worth potentially endangering them. Plus, most DIYers will have to build their swing sets out of wood, which won’t last as long as metal or vinyl and introduces the risk of splinters. Instead, hire a local playground equipment installer to ensure the swing set is built safely and efficiently, setting up your kids for fun for years to come.

If you decide an in-ground or wall-mounted basketball hoop is best for you, you should consult a basketball hoop installer. They will have the necessary tools and experience to install these correctly and safely. If you were to try to install these yourself, there is a risk of injury or improper installation, which could lead to damage to the hoop or your yard.

The average cost to install a playground is around $500, with most homeowners spending between $150 and $1,200 on installation labor. The total project cost can range from $500 to $2,500. These prices typically do not include the playground equipment itself, which can cost an additional $100 to $1,500.

Several factors influence the final installation cost:

  • Playset Details: The type, size, material, design complexity, and number of accessories.

  • Site Preparation: Costs may increase if the land needs to be leveled.

  • Yard Accessibility: Difficult access for installers can raise labor costs.

  • Customization: Custom-built playgrounds are more expensive to install than premade kits.

  • Permits: Local permitting fees may apply.

Additionally, remember to budget for playground surfacing, which can cost $15 to $160 per cubic yard, or up to $225 per cubic yard for poured rubber.
