Small jobs welcome

"Maria and crew stretch the carpet in a guest house owned by my Parents and they did a fantastic job! I’ve used this company before at my residence and knew that my parents were in great hands. Maria is an awesome company CEO of this company and the crew are always professional and take pride in their workmanship. I’ve discussed future flooring projects with Maria and I know there isn’t another company I will deal with but Medina flooring. Support this local business you will not be disappointed."

"We had a slab leak so we had to get all of our floors redone and the finish product was amazing. It looks like a totally completely different house and we love it! These are just from the living room. We even redid our fireplace. I highly recommend Talamantez group to anyone else who is looking for their floors to be done."

"When we were fixing up our 30 year old home to sell, we had Scott Garage Concepts come coat epoxy the garage and covered patio floor. The epoxy coating made the home look like new again. We had the buyers offer within 24 hours of posting the home thanks to the new floors, they were one of selling points the buyers loved. We were so pleased with Scott Garage Concepts work that we had them come do our new garage floor. If you are selling a home, I would recommend having this done before putting it on the market, it will help sell the home. I would highly recommend having Scott Garage Concepts come do your home garage floor as well. Your home is a big investment, the epoxy coating will add value, is easy to clean, and well worth the money. While you might think, why coat a garage floor, it's only a garage...when yous see how beautiful it looks, you will wonder why you didn't do it sooner. It's so beautiful that everyone that sees it for the first time says how great it looks and asks who did the work."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes. You can tile over tile if the old tile is in good shape, but this will also create a thicker floor. As a result, you may have to remove and readjust baseboards and other room trimmings and potentially even raise door heights to work with the higher floors. In most projects, it’s best to remove the old tile before installing a new tile floor.

These are two different questions. The most budget-friendly flooring option for a bathroom is waterproof luxury vinyl, but installing vinyl flooring is a fairly extensive DIY project best left to homeowners with a lot of confidence and experience. When you hire your local flooring company to do the hard work for you, you can focus on simply figuring out which type of floor will work best for your needs and stylistic preferences.

Because concrete is porous, installing flooring directly onto the surface is not a good idea. Any moisture within the concrete due to atmospheric conditions or seasonal humidity can seep into your flooring, causing warping or damage. In most cases, you’ll need to install at least a moisture barrier between the concrete and the flooring you choose.

The cost to install carpet is $1,780 on average for 330 square feet, the size of an average living room. This cost could range from $200 to $5,000, depending on the amount of carpet, material, and type of carpet.

If you need 500 square feet of carpet, it’ll cost $1,500 to $5,500, while 1,000 square feet of carpet costs $3,000 to $11,000. Polyester is one of the more affordable options, ranging from $1 to $3 per square foot. Wool is a more luxurious option, ranging from $4 to $20 per square foot

Carpeting with a low pile is both slip-resistant and soft, making it one of the safest types of flooring in the case of slips and falls. In order to be fully ADA-compliant, carpet shouldn’t exceed the thickness of half an inch, and you should secure the edges to the floor to prevent trip hazards.

Other ADA-compliant flooring options include hardwood, laminate, or ceramic tile with a gritty, anti-slip surface. Ceramic or porcelain tile are actually some of the best types of flooring for wheelchair users.
