Customers say: Quick response

"Mr. Campbell is so friendly and professional. He quoted us well under other contractors and provided quality work and equipment. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a/c or heating work. We had a complete removal and replacement of outside a/c unit and attic furnace. Call Mr. Campbell! He always answers his phone! 😊👍"

"JoseLuis and his assistant were great to work with! They came on time and worked quickly and assembled the shed we bought from Sam's Club with no issues. They also installed a 42 inch ceiling fan in our living room without any problems. Both projects were affordably priced and we are happy with the results. JoseLuis also said he guarantees his work 100% which we really liked. We definitely recommend him and will use him again in the future."

"The overall experience with Lone Star was fine. There were a couple of times when I had to call to get them to resume work, but they responded quickly. Some of their subcontractors were especially good - H&J Electric and Tulio and his crew who did most of the work. The supervisor Augustin and project manager Fred Johnson were easy to work with."

"Our project was a home addition. They added 180 ft.² to our home, pouring foundation, framing, roof, stucco, and all the interior. From the bid process through construction, this team was excellent. If we had concerns, they addressed them quickly. We are very happy with the results."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Designs typically take 2-6 months, depending on factoring, project size, and customization needs. Larger or more complex designs may require additional time for approval and revisions.

No, it’s not legal for unlicensed individuals to conduct structural calculations for buildings or building repairs. Not only do licensing requirements prevent DIYers from tackling this project, but mistakes can also be extremely dangerous and put your property and anyone inside or near it at risk of severe injury or even death. You should always hire a licensed and certified local structural engineer to make structural calculations.

Yes, professionals offer custom designs, including lattice tops and decorative post caps.

You'll find Arts and Crafts homes across the country in varying styles. On the East Coast, bungalows and Tudor Revivals fill the Boston area through New Jersey. In the West, Mission-style homes incorporate terracotta shingles, white stucco siding, and rounded archways.

You can draw your own house plans using three-dimensional modeling software, but in most cases, you’ll need an architect to draw up the final plans. Architects understand local building regulations and requirements, so their plans will be necessary for getting permits approved, and they’ll also ensure your home is structurally sound. DIY house plans can be a good place to start to help visualize your project, but you should always defer to a professional before trying to proceed with the project.
