"Not only is David highly skilled in resolving HVAC issues, but he was a pleasure to work with and taught me a lot! He was punctual, communicative and patient, taking the time to explain what the issues were (in plain English), and in the end solved my A/C problems much faster AND cheaper than the so called “best in town” HVAC company I was working with. Highly recommend, and will be calling him back again!"

"TeamEnoch work quality and cost were the best. Installation Evan and Richard took care everything much better than I expected. I have had American Home Shield who assigned several different contactors to fix my HVACs. Their (AHS contractors) work quality was poor (I would rate them as 2-star the most). I highly recommend TeamEnoch for HVAC work. In fact I will hire them again to install the 2nd HVAC for my house in the near future."

Customers say: Quick response

"He was professional, courteous, honest, and educational. He went through our entire system. A previous tech told us we needed a $2000 repair. Bill advised us that this recommended repair was not necessary. He did advise us of a different issue which may or may not become a future problem and gave us options on how to proceed. Based on our service I have already referred him to a co-worker and plan on calling him out for regular A/C maintenance. Thanks Bill!"

"Sheldon was the technician that serviced my HVAC . He was thorough with finding where the problem was, showed and explained exactly what I needed and why I needed it. He also told me of what could occur if the part wasnâ t replace . He was very informative, knowledgeable , and sweet . I will specifically ask for him every time. This was his second time at my property , both times excellent work . Thank you"

"Fixed my poor ventilation of my dryer duct. Don't know how effective the hvac duct cleaning was. I figured it didn't hurt to do it once since it's never been done but mostly purchased deal for dryer duct."

"They come out for routine checks on plumbing and air conditioning (HVAC). They always do regular check ups, and let us know about small problems - before they become big problems. We are members of their "Comfort Club" & it really helps! I have recommended them many times!"

"The owner called to let me know the crew would arrive in approximately 45 minutes and they showed up on time and got right to work. Jacob, the owner and I met to discuss options for additional work, which I agreed to. They started vacuuming up the old insulation and during the process I was shown pictures of the clean attic floor and informed what room they would be working on next. They sealed around all the openings in the attic to the HVAC vents, plumbing pipes, etc. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction. Once the job was complete and new insulation blown the crew cleaned up and loose debris in the garage and driveway. I am happy with the crew and their work."

"We have 22 air conditioning units in our food processing facility, and on all the occasions we have requested them, they have worked out around the timelines we set up to not affect production. They cover up with plastic the machines we request, and clean themselves up after they finish. We highly recommend them to others who have similar needs."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

Choosing between a ductless mini-split and central AC depends on your specific needs. Ductless mini-splits are ideal for targeted cooling, providing zoned comfort and energy efficiency. They are perfect for smaller spaces or homes lacking ductwork. In contrast, central AC offers consistent cooling throughout the entire house but requires ductwork and may be less energy-efficient for smaller spaces.

Consider factors like budget, home size, and cooling preferences to make the right choice. Combining both systems, with a ductless mini-split in specific areas, can also be a viable solution for tailored comfort and overall efficiency.

The outdoor portions of air conditioners are designed to weather the rain, so you don’t need to worry about it. An awning or roof will help protect them from snow or falling debris, which can do more damage. This is true of both window AC and outdoor units for larger systems.

You should know the main components of an air conditioner: the condenser coils, evaporator coils, drip pan, AC filter, ducts, and refrigerant. Each part plays a key role in the performance and safety of your AC system. When tracking the source of AC issues or odors, it helps to know where to look. Your outdoor unit houses your condenser coils, fan, and compressor. Your indoor unit houses your evaporator coils, drain lines, and filter, and it connects to your ductwork.

There are several common types of HVAC systems that you may have, including split systems, hybrid HVAC, duct-free systems, packaged heating and air, geothermal heating, or even portable units for heating or cooling. If you aren’t sure which type is in your home or are looking to install something different, you should consult an HVAC pro to determine which option is right for your heating and cooling needs.

Both evaporator coils and condenser coils are recyclable and contain valuable, sellable metals such as copper and aluminum. Not only is it more earth-friendly to take them to a local metal recycling facility, but you can also trade them in for cash. Also, once the coils are removed from the system, they won’t have any traces of refrigerant, so you won’t have to arrange for recycling Freon or R-410A unless you’re disposing of the entire AC system.
