We have been business since 1988. Our specialty is irrigation repair work and all of our work comes with a warranty. We simply do the job right.

"Was contacted by the Owner (Rick) and he sent out a technician Travis Joslin. He was very professional, friendly, and knew his job very well! Since I hadn't used my system in a couple of years he checked everything out and he was honest and let me know that the system was in much better shape than what I thought it was. He only needed to replace a couple of the sprinkler heads and redirect a few more. I had a zone that wasn't providing enough water in one of my zones and needed to get another head installed and I also requested to get Drip lines installed into my flower bed. I made another appointment and Travis came out again; completed the work and I'm very satisfied with how my system is working. I would recommend this company if you're having any issues with your sprinkler system!! The company will return your phone calls, if an appointment is made they will show up on time, and if your tech is Travis expect Outstanding, Quality Work!!! I highly recommend this company and will use them for any sprinkler issue I may have in the future!!!"

"Feels like a scam. The previous owner of our house used this service and declared that it had a 'lifetime transferable warranty'. Unfortunately, the small print on that is incredible. As the new owner, I wanted to have someone check possible cracks (no way of validating if they do good work, I guess!) but I found out that unless you notify them that there is a new owner within 30 days of buying the house, the warranty is void. Soooo, a new homeowner, with all the stress of moving, is going to know to read all the fine print of a legal agreement. I get it, they protected themselves legally, but really, they created the concept of 'lifetime transferable warranty' to sell sell sell, knowing full well that with the amount of houses that change hands, chances are that vast majority of people will NOT call to update a name in a database (because THAT really impacts the quality of the work), and so therefore they have an unlimited ability to keep pouncing on the same property over an over again, even though it had a 'lifetime transferable' warranty. Shame on you for preying on people. A really company would stand by their work, not hide behind legalese because they are scared of a database name change. Based on that, I fear they really can't back up their work."

FAQs for well and pump service projects in San Antonio, TX

Estimating what size well pump you need is challenging and often inaccurate, but a general rule of thumb is to take the number of fixtures—including water-consuming appliances—in your home and aim for that number in gallons per minute. That calculation method would allow for every fixture in your home to use about one gallon of water per minute. However, it’s best to leave the pump size determination to a professional technician, as they can ensure your pump is providing your home with sufficient water, especially during peak usage hours.

Some states and municipalities restrict well pump repair and replacement to licensed plumbers and technicians, while others don’t have requirements. However, it’s always a good idea to hire a certified plumber to repair or replace well pumps and water pumps. Certified professionals are far more likely to get the job done correctly and prevent future issues, which is especially important for ensuring access to clean water for your home.

It’s possible to fix a broken well pump yourself, but we don’t recommend it. Well pumps are hard to reach and service without the proper equipment, and even if you can reach the pump, it involves working in close proximity to water and electricity, which can be extremely dangerous. Any mistakes made during the repair process could contaminate your water supply or put you and your home at risk. Additionally, some states require that a licensed plumber carry out well pump repair. It’s worth it to hire a professional water pump repair service.

The average cost to repair a well pump is $950, with most well pump repairs ranging between $100 and $2,900. A few factors influence your total repair cost, including the component of your well that needs repair or replacement, the extent of the damage, the accessibility of the pump, and the age and size of your well pump. It might be more cost-effective to replace your well pump if it’s old or has multiple broken components, as the average cost to replace a well pump is $1,800.

Most professional well and water pump technicians will take between two and four hours to replace an above-ground well pump, while a submersible well pump typically takes four to five hours to access and replace. You can also ask your well pump replacement technician how long they expect the process to take, as some jobs take just an hour or two. Keep in mind that you’ll be without access to water during the replacement process, so plan ahead by showering early and stocking up on bottled water for drinking and cooking.
