"We hired Mike Ball's company to clear out a badly overgrown and waterlogged part of our yard, to install a stone patio, improve the drainage, and create flower beds. They did a fantastic job! Mike really knows his stuff, giving us good ideas about design and landscaping. They also worked quickly but thoroughly, were very reliable, cleaned up thoroughly after themselves, and were priced very reasonably. Very happy customers; we'll definitely be back!"

"On time every time he said he would be here or call he was on time. Very adaptable to what needed done. I would suggest a detailed itemized list of exactly what you want done. Easy to work with, professional, courteous. Clean up at the end was mediocre, transfer of some of the plants that were in the ground were not done as well as I expected. A few problems he was promptly here the next day to fix. He worked very hard and consistently. Would use again."

"They took out the brick and concrete of old front walk and replaced it with a perfect walk of concrete pavers. --- good drainage, good design, and good execution and finished in expected time. We are considering having them replace our concrete driveway with concrete pavers..

Aquarium Services questions, answered by experts

If you notice a septic smell in the house, you can either call a septic system repair company or a plumber. These professionals have the proper licenses and equipment to investigate the pipes and septic tank while keeping your family safe from sewage gas exposure and raw sewage leaks. They will be able to find the problem as soon as possible and get it fixed so that your home can get back to smelling fresh again.

Your garbage disposal will only affect the health of your septic tank if you’re using it too frequently, or filling it with organic waste that doesn’t fully break down. If the tank fills up with too many solids, the bacteria won’t have enough time to consume it before more is added, which can lead to an overflow in the drain field. Your tank will need to be pumped more frequently with excessive or improper garbage disposal use.

You could be smelling sewer gas in your kitchen because of a dry P-trap, clogged vent pipe, or leaking plumbing seals. If you smell a rotten egg odor, check your sink’s P-trap and plumbing connections first. A clogged or damaged vent pipe can trap sewer gas and push it back into your kitchen through the plumbing pipes. Loose or deteriorated seals around drainpipes can also allow sewer gas to leak out. If you can’t find the source, call a local plumber for expert help.

Yes, a septic tank can get full. If this happens, you might run into issues flushing your toilets or draining your sinks. You may also notice your pipes making gurgling noises or the smell of sewage floating around your house. Other signs of a backed-up septic tank include water pooling or fresh, healthy grass growing above your drain field.

Your sewer line can get grimy quickly. To prevent sludge buildup in your sewer line, pour a mixture of 1/3 cup of vinegar and 1/3 cup of baking soda down each drain in your home once a month. After about 30 minutes, flush the drain with hot water.

Some plumbers recommend 3/4 cup of bleach instead to clean any germs and bacteria that may build up in your sewer line. But this won’t break down any active clogs, and it cannot be combined with vinegar, as the mixture will create a toxic, hazardous gas.
