"Getting a walk in tub is expensive no matter who you use. My experience thus far is with installation only and I must say my install went great. It has been over a month and no issues with my tub so I cannot comment on repair process with American Standard."

"For once the salesperson was honest and told us exactly what and how it would happen. My worry was the one day as I office from home so I could not afford to have a ton of interruptions. In/Out in less than 9 hours. Very polite and professional crew. It was truly an enjoyable experience and the finished product is gorgeous. I only gave the 3.5 stars on value as I had hoped to not have spent quite so much money on one tub shower conversion but with the other estimates I suppose it was in line."

"When Best Plumbing was notified by HomeAdvisor, I received a call from Craig within minutes. My outside water line under ground had broke. He came on a Saturday, found the problem and repaired it. The best part is this company did not take advantage on pricing. Very affordable. Highly recommend."

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

The cost to fix a leaky pipe ranges depending on location—the easier the pipe is to access, the less expensive the repair will be. Because a leaky pipe under the sink is typically an exposed pipe, this is one of the least expensive repairs for a plumber to do, often costing between $150 to $300 to fix, on average.

Dirty, cloudy faucets have been stained by tap water, that is "hard water." The scaly deposits you're seeing are actually signs of calcium buildup. If you have visible cloudiness on the outside, there's a high chance you have calcium buildup in your pipes that needs to be treated.

Signs of a broken drain pipe include slow-draining sinks, tubs, or toilets; foul odors coming from the drain; damp or wet spots on your walls, floors, or ceilings; and gurgling sounds coming from the drain. In severe cases, you may also notice a sudden drop in your water pressure.

Tools include pipe wrenches, plungers, and augers. Professionals use advanced equipment for complex issues.

If you notice water dripping from your bathroom fan, you likely have an accumulation of condensation. The fan pulls warm, wet air from your bathroom and into the attic. However, if the water accumulates as condensation over time, it can begin to drip back out of your bathroom fan. It’s important to take action quickly to prevent mold growth and water damage.
