"It is my understanding that Space City Lights primarily focuses on outdoor lighting (Outdoor lighting was the only option I could select above). But this job was actually to remove my existing indoor lighting at my house, and then add in dimmable recessed lighting throughout the home (first and second floors). Overall, very pleased. The job was finished yesterday and so far, so good. Brent and his team managed to add in the lights without damaging the surrounding drywall on the ceiling. Pricing was attractive. Only slight negative was the job took an extra day - but they communicated that early on as the project was ongoing. So it wasn’t a problem for me. They also removed and installed 3 ceiling fans. Those are also working well so far."

Although exactly how the wiring would be installed up in the eaves and gutters was not clearly explained during the estimate, I was comfortable with the process once done. Two weeks later one light did not come on and I called to report the issue. The next business day a technician was back out to fix the problem. They seem to stand behind their work which gives me confidence to hire them again for any future outdoor lighting work."

"This is an engineered wall which is intended to preserve the clay pad upon which our home was constructed.  The home is on a downhill slope.  The contractor respected all manufacturer recommendations regarding installation.
The crew seemed seasoned, both in terms of the type of work, and also as a working team.  The management partners are hands on participants and spent every day on site.
The project included not only hardscaping, but also plumbing and electrical aspects.  The crew seemed comfortable performing the required tasks.
We found the guys to be pleasant to have around.  Given that the blocks weigh about 50 lbs each, the temperature was as high as 105, and the work surface challenging, the cheerful smiles were actually something of a miracle.
We had agreed generally on the wall design, but left many design decisions up to them.  We are very pleased with the aesthetics of the final product.  Their instincts are good.
Our greatest frustration was probably with regard to communication and scheduling, BUT this job was booked during the most rainy Spring on record, and the installation took place over a 2.5 week period when temps were above 100 every day.  That at
least partially explains the delayed start and the longer than expected execution.  At those temperatures, a break is required after about every 20 minutes of labor. 
The above concerns are offset by the fact that because management is on-site, feedback is immediate and there are no communication problems during the project execution."

They work VERY long hours, take pride in what they do, and are always gracious and cheerful. Seriously...I've seldom seen a group of people like this. Stephen guarantees every bit of the work, and is most concerned with the customer's satisfaction.
Some of our neighbors, we have heard, think the company's work is too expensive. We do not as we chose to dedicate the money to improving our home and the neighborhood. Others try to imitate the quality of Stewart Land Designs, at a cheaper cost. I wish them well, but we prefer the quality of Stephen Stewart and company. They are not and quot;cheap,and quot; but we feel they are reasonable and can deliver what they say they can...and then some.
