We are a professional business that does construction and remodeling electrical work we specialize in flooring electrical panel all types of work work

"Terrible, windows were not sealed properly, gaps, the wood in back can be seen and installed window defective, comes out of frame. Shower based started, liner not long enough and has cuts though it. Which the water will leak through. The concrete base not leveled and trowel. Looks like they used their hands. He had started I stalling 1/4 hardie board, until I mentioned it was to thin to hold cement and tile. He would have install the tile like that and the cuts in liner and floor uneven. Dry wall not floated properly, still can see the tape. Did want anyone there while work was being done. I paid everything up front. He said, sometimes people don't pay. I trusted he knew how to the work. He doest not want to reimburse the money. Will not even go to mediation."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

It might seem tempting to use 14-gauge wires for your outlets, as they can run a little cheaper. But, when it comes to electrical work, it’s best not to cut costs less you overload your circuit. A 12-gauge wire will ensure that you’re protecting the outlet (and your circuit breaker) from any potential overloads that might incur, as it can handle a little more amplitude than a 14-gauge wire.

The major difference between a GFCI breaker and an AFCI breaker is that a GFCI breaker protects against fatal shocks while an AFCI breaker prevent electrical fires. A GFCI breaker senses when the electrical current to ground is overloaded and trips to prevent major accidents or injuries. AFCI breakers trip when it detects dangerous electrical arcing.

Yes, you should get a quote or an estimate from an electrician. Most electricians offer free estimates or quotes. When getting quotes, do your research and verify each electrician’s license. Get quotes from three different electricians to compare. If the prices or items listed appear different on the quotes, ask the electrician to clarify. Learning as much as you can about the electrical work you want done will help you get the most accurate estimate.

Converting a gas water heater to an electric one can cost between $870 and $4,100, depending on the installation scope, plumbing and electrical needs, and the water heater model. However, it’s always better to contact a local pro for a more accurate quote. Also, since natural gas is cheaper than electricity in most regions, you should prepare yourself for a higher monthly cost after the initial conversion.

Yes, if something sparks when you plug it in or turn it on, it's important to unplug it immediately. A spark from an electrical appliance or device could indicate a short circuit, damaged wiring, or other electrical problems that could cause electrical fires or electrical shock. By unplugging the appliance, you can reduce the risk of electrical hazards and prevent damage to the device itself. It's important to avoid using the appliance until it has been inspected and repaired by a licensed professional to ensure that it’s safe to use.
