"Absolute waste of time and money. I scheduled a very simple job - replace two exterior wall sconces (porch lights) with two new ones. The old ones work fine, we just want to update the look. Scheduled service for a date and time and acknowledged there is a $69 service/trip fee which is waived if you have them do the work; no problem. They even called day-of to see if tech could come out earlier than scheduled, which worked fine. When tech arrived, I explained the very straightforward job I wanted done. He looked over the new parts, and I thought we'd be good to go. Then he said that before he did anything he had to do a "safety inspection." An hour later he quoted me a multi-thousand dollar bid to replace all sorts of equipment I had no interest in replacing. And the simple job, if he did just that, would be over $550. I declined, and so it cost me $69 to have no work done and waste my time. I will either do this myself or find a local handyman. Avoid this company like the plague."

He also noticed I did not have a surge protector on my main box, he got that installed in the same time. The work he did was just what I asked for. Additionally, he was respectful, kind and knowledgable."

"SSGE acted like a teenager wrt aftersale service. The first time I called SSGE was when then was an alarm on the system, ( a year after install) and they refused service!!! The reason per SSGE was that there was dispute during install. During the sales process, SSGE had told me that HOA approval was NOT needed. Right after installation, the HOA wanted to remove the generator, and it took me 2 weeks to sort out the issue. I paid SSGE the second half of the payment in full only after the dispute with HOA was settled in about 2 weeks.Is that a good enogh reason to not provide service?? I had to call Generac's head-quarters and they helped me trouble shoot the alarm on my system."

"I hired Ozzy’s electrical service to install a 3 phase surge protector on an electrical box for a not-for-profit education center. He provided a quote in writing (via text message) for this and a few other services. Not only did Ozzy (the owner) NOT COMPLETE this service; he told me that I needed an additional service which doubled his original quote. We paid for all of this work including the surge protector even though he did not complete the entire job in one day ( as discussed). It was not until I asked him the location of the surge protector (after he had left the property) that he told me tell that he did not install the surge protector! This was the first thing on my written list for him to complete. He then told me that it would be another $650 to install the surge protector (that I had already paid for)!!!! DO NOT USE OZZY’S ELECTRICAL SERVICE! This is the WORST SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED WITH A CONTRACTOR FROM ANGI’S LIST! I wish I could give a zero or negative #!"

"Sean and Juan were awesome on addressing and handling the upgrade and repairs to the electrical issues to my home. They were respectful to the property and made sure that I understood and was aware of what was going on. My only issue that I had, was the office staff repeatedly failed to let me know what was going on or advising time frames for arrival. Sean made sure that I knew what time they would return the following day and let me know, they would not leave until I had power and a/c and job completed. Can't say enough about these guys. What an asset to this company."
