The bid was fair and we ended up having the original driveway and two deteriorating overlays replaced with a new driveway for less than two other companies bid to do yet another overlay. We had to delay the start of the job for a few weeks for personal reasons, but when we were ready to schedule it Thomas was ready to get us on the schedule promptly at the exact time we needed. It was refreshing to work with Thomas and Dustin who were always on site working alongside and supervising the rest of the crew. "John said he could do "chip seal"same day.I did not understand the difference between asphalt and chip seal what i got was glued down rock???When I wrote him the check for 2000.00 made out to JB Asphalt he would not take it,he ask me to make it out to J.Gohrman because that was the DBA they were useing???.They left a pile of unused chip in the street and a pile of loose gravel they scraped off my driveway in front of my neighbors gate to there property!So far the "chip seal" is holding up.When he said chip seal i thought it would be rock with a sealer over the loose rock.I should of ask for Pictures,live and learn."
