"Steve the owner and sales man was awesome. He gave me specific advice and explained the options to me. They handled everything. Including communication with the insurance which was very helpful. The crews worked hard and fast even during a super hot summer on top of my tall and pitched roof. The crew were very professional. They did a fee little extras like fixing some molding. They were on time and cleaned up after they were done. I am super happy with the entire experience."

Building an A-frame roof falls under the category of constructing a steep roof. While its structure is relatively simple, its height and requirements for more materials than a shallow roof design can increase its cost significantly. Expect prices for building an A-frame roof to hover around average to slightly above average.

Roll roofs don’t last as long as traditional roofs, like those made of asphalt shingles. A roll roof typically lasts between five and 15 years, whereas a shingled roof will last between 20 and 50  years. Modified bitumen roofs are similar in look to rolled roofing but have a 12 to 15 year warranty.

Metal roofs last for between 50 and 70 years, and asphalt roofs last for between 20 and 25 years, with some lasting as long as 30 years. Trusses cost more because they use the same amount of material, but you’ll also be paying for the labor, as well as the delivery to your home. However, if you’re having a contractor build the roof for you, then trusses will be less expensive, as the labor costs to build roof framing on-site will cost more.
