"These guys made my life so much easier for my move. It’s the first thing that went smoothly through the whole process. Extremely professional and careful with all my things and were very efficient. Next time I move, I will not hesitate to reach out and book these guys again."

"Everything went great. The guys were friendly and fun to talk with. Very quick at moving everything. We used them when we moved our things into storage, as well. And we’ll use them again for our moving needs in the future!"

"Arranged to do the move on Sunday in order to meet my schedule. Didn't charge a premium for outside of normal business hours.  Due to heavy rain all day, the job was delayed until about 5:30 pm. William went out of his way to get the move completed as quickly as possible and within budget. He and his co-worker were extremely careful, well organized and diligent. Once started the move was completed within the agreed upon time and went without a hitch. I would use them again and I am actively sharing the positive move experience with all who I know are facing a similar move. I have made over 15 moves in the military including six overseas moves, and this business is the best by far.

"It was awesome! Billy and Robert were amazing. They got done with what I requested and still had time in the 2-hour minimum so they helped me move more stuff. They were so friendly and enthusiastic about helping me move! The staff that helped me schedule the move was awesome too. Speaking with Cindy to get a quote made me feel like I was talking to my favorite aunt. So nice and pleasant. I give the entire experience two thumbs up!"

"Great! I’ve needed this heavy furniture moved/rearranged in my living room for a long while, and I am very thankful for Samuel (owner) and Mario of Big Gunz Movers. They were patient with my requests and nitpicking regarding the furniture placement. Highly recommend Big Gunz!"

Piano Moving questions, answered by experts

To treat office moving costs as capital expenses, which means recording them as assets, they must meet certain rules: they need to be essential for the business to keep running, directly related to the move, reasonable, and documented properly with invoices and contracts. These costs can include packing, transportation, and setting up the new office. Once these expenses are capitalized, they're treated like assets on the books and gradually accounted for over time through depreciation or amortization.

No, homeowners insurance does not typically cover moving expenses. Homeowners insurance provides coverage and pay-outs if you experience damage to the home you currently live in. You’ll need to save separately for moving expenses like hiring movers, renting a tow truck, or shipping your belongings.

Moving insurance helps protect your belongings from damage or loss during the moving process. This policy can help reimburse you either part of or the total amount of your belongings that become damaged during the moving process. Moving insurance has three main options: full value protection, released value protection, and third-party or separate liability coverage. Speak with your moving company to determine what is covered under each policy and their cost to determine the best fit for your needs.

It’s not required. Some treadmills aren’t designed for dismantling, so you’ll need to move in one piece. Others can be quickly disassembled and reassembled, so taking them apart is a great way to save on space and make the move easier. Consult your treadmill’s user manual for more information and to find the best option.

Traveling with your automobile over short distances when moving is typically less expensive than shipping it with a transport company. However, consumers start to break even at around 500 miles. It's typically less costly and worth shipping your car with a professional transport company if the distance you're going exceeds 500 miles.
