"It went very well. Installation of two floor model hyper-heat, Mitsubishi heat pump, mini split system along with electric breaker and circuit. I highly recommend Joe Leal and his company Air Pros of S.A. Joe gave me a qoute on the Mitsubishi mini split by text and email the same day shortly after I contacted him. He answered all my question over the phone and also when he came to the house to determine the size and where to place them. Joe, Sammy and Gabriel did an excellent job on the installation of the 18kbtu mini split in my dining room and the 12kbtu in my master bedroom. They are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Joe spent time going over the functions on the remote and answering questions about maintenance, etc. I can't say enough good things about Joe, Sammy and Gabriel and highly recommend this company."

"Leo arrived promptly and proceeded to clean the vents. He replaced the vent tubbing on my dryer and connected my dryer to the outside vent. He was very efficient and clean in doing his work. He was very pleasant in his demeanor. After four days, I was finally able to use my dryer."

"Kenneth Draper the Comfort Advisor came out to present the “Will”Fixit new Air condition package. He was highly professional and presented the various units and models we could choose. All our concerns and questions were answered fully, due to his thorough presentation. After having our installers change out our unit, it matched totally to what Kenneth Draper shared."

"They put in our new heating and air system for us. It was about 3 years ago. It was about as good as anyone else's offers. The cost may have been around $29. They might have been running a special. They were pretty good with punctuality. We've used them since before they put in the new system. We've been pretty happy with their service. We had a freon leak and they kept coming out until they finally found it and fixed it. It was no charge. It was their job. They put it in and then it had a freon leak. So they kept coming out until they fixed it at no charge."

"I had no idea I needed to clean the vents. I have always lived in new homes. The first thing I noticed is that the vents did need cleaned, pictures of what the vents looked like before and after were shocking. I also noticed the quality of the air. The third is the air conditioner in this house is old and loud. The first night after the air conditioner vents were cleaned I woke up the next morning and realized that I had not been woken up by the air conditioner roaring. That in it self was the most shocking piece of getting my vents cleaned. My husband is sick I am looking at everything in our environment to make sure it is not the house making him sick. GET YOUR VENTS cleaned, you will be shock at what you find out about your air conditioning system vents. Each personà  à ¢à  à  à  à  s experience will be different. "TeamEnoch replaced my old air conditioning and heating systems, and the work they did was so good it borders on the unbelievable. Two very professional technicians showed up exactly on time, worked for 11 hours straight in really horrible conditions (a cramped attic in 95-degree heat) and did the whole job in one day! To top it off, their company’s price for all this was significantly lower than other estimates I had. This is a great company. I can see why they have won so many awards. *This review was migrated from an affiliated account on Angi with an original submission date of 10/4/2021"

Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

If you’re looking for an energy-efficient heating and cooling system to heat a compact to average-sized home, then a ductless system is absolutely worth considering. The installation is less hassle when compared to a ducted heat pump system, and because your electricity bills should drop, it’s an excellent long-term investment.

You may be able to clean mold from your air conditioner in some cases. If the mold growth only takes up a small area, you can use either vinegar or bleach mixed with water to remove it. Larger areas of mold should be left to the professionals, though. It's also a good idea to leave mold removal to the pros if you are sensitive to mold or have asthma.

It depends on the type of AC unit and the extent of the mold growth. For example, if you have a small amount of mold in your central air conditioner, it’s worth cleaning it to protect your HVAC system and your health. In situations like these, you can often remove the mold yourself in a couple of hours. On the other hand, if you have a portable AC unit with a severe mold problem, it makes more sense to buy a new one. On average, replacing a portable AC unit costs $100 to $500.

Yes, you can clean your air conditioner filter as a temporary fix for cleaning up dirt, but you’ll eventually need to replace it once the dust starts to accumulate. Use a vacuum with a hose attachment to clean your air filter at least once per year or more often if you have pets.

The length of an AC cycle depends on the settings in your thermostat and the unit you have. Central AC doesn't constantly run at full blast the way that a window unit does. A cooling cycle in most homes is 15 to 20 minutes. Then, the unit stays off for seven to 10 minutes to circulate the cold air in the house before the cycle repeats. It should repeat two or three times per hour. A short cycle lasts less than 10 minutes and then turns off.
