We have been serving East Texas since 2002 with top quality workmanship and professionalism, dedicated to the customer.

"I can give Mr. Mark Gorton my highest recommendation. 1. He answered my call immediately. 2. Discussed the necessary repairs. 3. Viewed photos of the door, sent via text. Provided an estimate within minutes. 4. Made an appointment for 3 days later and arrived on time. 5. Installed a new wood door jam, rehung the glass door, with frame & installed new doorbell. 6. Results were excellent. Both wood and glass doors fit perfectly. 7. Repairs performed in a timely manner, all debris was removed and a receipt provided. It just doesn't get any better than that!"

Owner has 45 years experience. We do both residential & commercial remodeling specializing in kitchens and bath remodels. We are licensed, bonded and insured. On larger project we take weekly draws against completed work - no up-front money. We are members of the BBB with an A+ rating. We have six employees and one office manager and utilize a number of sub-contractors to handle most any project you have.

"The work was beautiful upon completion. Just shy of a year after construction was completed, the seam of the add-on began to leak. James was called and came out to take a look. He and a few guys added caulk ( I assume - wasn't told) to try and fix the issue. Shortly thereafter, we had another bout of storms and the seam still leaked. James was called once more and stated that he had never had this issue before. He came out again and then stated that the problem was the roof slant/chimney and would need another approximately $4,000.00 dollars to fix. Needless to say, not happy with that one."

I have been in the remodeling business for 16+ years. I specialize mainly in doors and windows, but have completed full remodel jobs. I have other contractors that I can sub out if the job requires something that I don't normally handle. I have multiple references available for various types of jobs.

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

Most ceiling fans have a lifespan of anywhere from five to 15 years or 10 years on average. Just how long your ceiling fan lasts depends on the quality of the parts, how much it’s used, and how well you maintain it. A fan with a weak motor that runs on the medium setting nonstop is likely to have a shorter lifespan compared to a fan with a powerful motor that runs on the slowest setting for air circulation.

The more surface area that a ceiling fan blade has, the more effective it will be at producing airflow. Therefore, a longer ceiling fan blade is the better option if you’re looking for more wind. However, a longer blade will consume more energy than a shorter blade.

Ceiling fans provide a number of advantages for your home. They help circulate air throughout your home to avoid stagnant environments, and they can help lower utility bills if they keep you from switching on your air conditioning. Between built-in lighting and modern styling, ceiling fans can also add aesthetic appeal to your space.

Fans not turning on, wobbling, noisy motors, or faulty remote controls are common issues requiring repair.

The most efficient ceiling fan height is 8 to 9 feet from the floor to the fan blades. For ceilings higher than 9 feet, a downrod can be used to lower the fan to the optimal height. This positioning ensures adequate air circulation and maximizes the cooling effect. Remember, fans should be installed at least 7 feet above the floor for safety.
