Ashanti services is a electrical company with hard working electrician, here to make customers happy and satisfied, very affordable and reliable, been serving the Shreveport bossier families for about 5 years and counting with quality and professional work, 5 years of experience.

"The work seems to go well, he completed it in 2 days. I thought it was done, but about 10 days later, the circuit breaker began to trip.I called he said he was busy and couldn't come by.I reset it and then it happened about a weak later. I called him again, he was too busy to come by, but I convinced him that he needed to come.He came out said it wasn't the panel that he just put in, but it was the air-conditioning unit in the bedroom that's causing the circuit breaker to trip.If I didn't want to pay more money I could buy a extra long extension cord and run it on the floor to one of the other rooms to be able to use the ac, or pay him $750, and he could add a separate connection for the ac unit."

I started this company so that I could offer the community quality work for a reasonable price. I don't charge by the hour but by the job and don't hire labor hands but work with professionals from different trades who take pride in their work

"Had doors tightened & drywall repaired. Easy to get a quote. Work scheduled a few weeks later (company is quite busy). Very professional, personable & does excellent work. We have been pleased with the results— done at a good value as well. Kudos also to them for communicating with the customer every step of the way. Would use the service again."

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

For a 12x12 room, a fan between 36" and 50" will work, as it falls in the range for spaces up to 144 square feet. These size fans provide adequate air circulation and ensure a comfortable environment without being overpowering. Even better, they come in a broad range of styles, offering aesthetics and functionality, making them suitable choices for maintaining an ideal room temperature and enhancing overall comfort.

The number of blades for your fan poses both advantages and disadvantages. Typically, the more blades on a fan, the better the air distribution and cooling effect, but this also means that your fan will have more wear on its motor. For small rooms, three-blade fans should work fine. For larger areas like living rooms, four or five-blade fans might be the better option.

Ceiling fans are very often worth the investment because they improve comfort in your living space and help reduce utility bills. In the late spring and early fall—and even in the summer in some areas—homeowners with ceiling fans can often get away with open windows and fans, which can cut down on cooling bills and also reduce wear and tear on the HVAC system. Over time, ceiling fans can pay for themselves by saving you money on electric bills and air conditioner repair and maintenance.

If you’re replacing an old fixture with a ceiling fan, you usually won’t need a permit, but if your electrician runs new wiring for the fixture, you likely will need a permit. Building permits are necessary in most municipalities if you’re making changes to your electrical system, so even if you have partial wiring run to the area and need new wiring installed for added functionality, you’ll probably need a permit. Your electrician should be able to let you know if you need one, and they’ll typically file the paperwork for you.

A handyperson generally charges $60 to $75 per hour for ceiling fan repair. If you need to hire an electrician, they charge $50 to $100 per hour. Some may charge on a per-project basis, which can be anywhere from $50 to $175. Contact a ceiling fan repair professional near you for a quote.
