Southern Roofing is a family owned roofing company, operated by Thomas Armstrong, and serving the Northwest Louisiana region. The company was started after coming to the realization that customers in this part of the state have very few choices when it comes to having quality roof work, as well as general maintenance work performed on their home. We take a great deal of pride in our work. The desire for our work to be right every time is why we hand-nail all of our shingle roofs instead of cutting corners with nail guns.
"Lied to by Michael,sales and then charged outrageous fees for paying with card of $53 and $22 with no notice of how high the fee would be I asked for an reversal of fees to which Alaine refused. Alaine stated it is on the contract I signed which was signed in Oct 2023. And they still never finished the job. Buyer beware. It was a nightmare from the word go. The plaster and paint guys left a horrible mess and property was stolen. To which the company said “no way out guys steal”. They wouldn’t even ask/check with them. You really should go with someone else."

"Encore Roofs did a excellent job on repairing my roof. I will not hesitate to use them again. Brian and his son completed the job in 2 days. Brian is personable, honest, and explained the issue and resolution. My roof has leaked since we purchased the house, and per the neighbors, since the house was built. The house has two different transition pitches on two different sections of the roof. The older part of the house was designed wrong and had no flashing. The newer add-on had transition flashing that was installed wrong. I talked to 3 companies as to how they would remediate the issue. One gave a quote over the phone via a satellite view only. Encore roofing and the other company met with me in person. Encore Roofs' repair design made sense, has a 10 year warranty on the work, and was competitive priced. The other companies only had warranties on a new roof. Encore Roofs replaced the ridge cap, put in a ridge vent, put in transition flashing on the older part, replaced the transition flashing on the newer part, fixed the roof rake, re-screwed the older part of the roof, and removed the old roof debris. Brian's innovative design eliminated the foam (that dry rots with age) under the transition flashing and the ridge cap. Brian also gave me the option to keep the left over new flashing and ridge cap. The completed work looks great."

Often stated, "I hope we don't find anything else." Salesperson understands and remembers little. Constant address and verbage mistakes by office personnel. Property damaged by roofers.
