"Carlos was such a pleasure to work with. He arrived early and got right to work. I had just bought a new computer and he had everything hooked up and running in no time. He did such a good job on this...I can not praise him enough. I also was having problems with my WiFi and he immediately got the hardware that I needed and hooked everything up. All was running at greater speeds than before with television pictures looking perfect. He spent all morning working on this and was so very detailed in all that he did."

Small jobs welcome

Hi my name is Antonio aka ToeKnee I’ve been in the Audio Visual business since 1985 😳 I started off as a mobile DJ with my uncle at 11 years old and at the age of 16 I started as a stage hand with local Tejano bands and Conjuntos. I eventually moved onto operating monitor boards and soundboard boards. \nAs an adult, I worked with local AV companies doing permanent installs with our local school districts here in San Antonio all the way down to the valley in South Texas. I began as a wire puller moved on to a service tech then onto a sales/assistant project manager until finally becoming a project manager until the company closed its doors. I moved onto work for several other AV companies up until Covid in 2021.\nSince then, I’ve been doing Uber/lyft in between small AV jobs around San Antonio. \nLately we’ve had a pleasure of doing work with a local home builder and prewiring smart homes for their network, WAPs, all security devices, such as cameras and window and door sensors.\n\n

"After my brief explanation of the problem, Jose said he was fairly sure that the problem was with a safety switch. And it was. He demonstrated that the oven would not trip the breaker when the switch was disabled. He did not have the exact part and installed a similar to see if it would work. It didn't so he ordered the switch plus two other low-cost switches which he expected would fail in the near future. He hoped they would be delivered so he could have the oven operational before Thanksgiving. The next day I had a voice mail from the office indicating the switches had arrived. I didn't listen to the voice mail until 7:00pm and planned on calling first thing next morning. Shortly after 8:30pm, the office manager called again to see if she could schedule installation of the switches. We scheduled for the next day. Jose came, installed switches, and everything worked. When he replaced one of the other two switches, he found that one had failed earlier which assures the microwave will not function with the door open. Since we had never attempted such an operation, we did not know it had failed. Jose's thoroughness eliminated a potential hazard and a future service call. We are elated to know that First Priority exists and lives up to its name. They responded quickly, thoughtfully, and we felt that they believed and acted as if we are their first priority. Costs were below my expectations and more than competitive with others who provided similar labor intensive repairs (plumbing, electrical, etc)."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

In most cases, you should not put a TV on a fireplace mantel. The minimum width required to put a TV safely on a shelf or mantel is 10 inches, but pre-made mantels are usually too shallow, averaging at only seven inches deep. If you do choose to place a TV above a mantel, it should be mounted to the wall. However, do so cautiously as heat radiating from the fireplace could potentially cause damage to electronics.

Do not install a TV above an active fireplace or wood-burning stove because of excess heat and temperature fluctuations. Another place that can be tricky for electronics is the bathroom, where moisture can be a factor. If you choose to mount a TV in these areas, you should find a weather-resistant appliance.

Professionals mount TVs using specialized tools and knowledge of different wall materials, ensuring safe support.

You can stream HDR video content from most major streaming services, including Amazon, Google Play, Itunes, Netflix, and Vudu with a 4K TV. You can also use this content in various forms, such as 4K Blu-ray players, cameras, and smartphones.

In addition, 4K content is gamer-friendly. You can use major gaming platforms such as the PS5 and Xbox to stream 4K gaming.

Yes, you can mount a TV on plaster walls—as long as you attach it to the studs. Alternatively, you can use toggle bolts, molly bolts, or another type of hardware that’s strong enough to support a TV.

If you aren’t comfortable with this type of project, you can hire a pro. The cost of mounting a TV to a plaster wall ranges from $25 to $600 (or more), depending on the TV’s weight, size, and other factors.
