They claim to service from property line to property line but yet, I have the same pests as I did before. Due to this, I called to cancel my service after 2 full servicing's and one spot treatment and not seeing a reduction in pests. Nothing is more frustrating than paying for a service and still have to deal with the inconvenience in which the service is suppose to alleviate. During the cancelation, I was told I would be responsible for the cancelation fee, to which I was reluctant because they were not providing the services they had promised and there for not holding up their end of the deal. I can understand differently if it was due to my own reasons and not the quality of service they are providing. "Do not sign a contract with this company. If you sell or rent your house and have to cancel, they will charge a $200 fee for cancellation of each contracted service. I was facing a $400 fee, then was allowed to cancel one contract "if I finished the 4 services left this season" of my second contract. I finished the season in November, and now they are showing up at my house in March to treat...because the end of the "annual contract" is May. They are still trying to charge me a $400 cancellation fee, because "if I cancel the second service, I will be charged both service cancellation fees" even though I completed the "deal" they claimed to give me in August, saying I had 4 more monthly services that ended in November."

Bleach, which can kill drain flies, can also kill fruit flies, but it’s better to lure fruit flies to a liquid rather than applying chemicals, as it’s very difficult to reach them all. A more practical approach is to lure fruit flies with traps made from liquids like apple cider vinegar mixed with dish soap. This method is safer and more efficient, since it targets a larger number of fruit flies without relying on harsh chemicals that may not reach all the pests.

Generally, the chemicals in hornet venom deliver a more painful sting than wasp stings. But wasps can still pack a punch when they sting, especially if they sting multiple times. One of the most painful insect stings in the world is that of the tarantula hawk. Fortunately, this sting is usually only an issue if you’re a tarantula.

Aside from incorporating smells that roaches hate in your bedroom, such as citronella, lemongrass, or clove oil, there are a few ways you can keep roaches away at night. First, try moving your bed away from the wall, as roaches will often climb the walls and onto your bed. If you’re still having trouble, you can also purchase a mosquito tent for your bed, or hang netting from the ceiling to surround your sleeping area. Make sure it isn’t touching the ground, though, as they may attempt to climb it.

Brown recluse spiders are most active at night. As the name “recluse” suggests, they prefer the dark, which is when they hunt small insects and other spiders. Regarding the time of year, brown recluses are more likely to be seen during warmer months, typically between March and October.

Like many animals, gophers are bothered by strong scents. Peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, and coffee grounds can be used as deterrents against these pests. Similarly, you can try planting lavender, rosemary, sage, geraniums, or pine trees, as these plants all have strong smells that can ward away gophers. While it may be less pleasant to work with, coyote urine scares gophers by tricking the pests into thinking your yard is a predator hot spot.
