Customers say: True professional

"Great work! Great people! Great communication! The team showed up and got right to work. They knew exactly how to tailor the oak trees. Even put aside some great pieces of fire wood for me, plus cleaned up/raked all the debris generated from the service. R&G Landscaping did an amazing job and already hired them for another. Thank you!"

"Professional and good provider. My only concern is that the pricing kept changing and going up. They took care of it all but there's always a reason for not doing something right the first time. Broke the sprinkler system but I had to split the cost for fixing and upgrading it. Planted trees but many are not dug in properly, complained that we got too many trees so the guys got tired. Small issues but at the end it got to be too much to deal with. He did spend time with me at the nursery to pick up plants and trees. Professional, I just wish they stayed true to the quoted price and not call me "mean" when I questioned why the price went it."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Transporting a fully-grown tree requires heavy equipment, typically specialized for the task. A tree spade is a truck-mounted tool that removes the tree from the ground in one location, transports it, and places it in a new hole in a new location. A combination of mechanized shovels and lifts is necessary to move very large trees, and the exact tools often depend on location and the surrounding area.

DIY home gardening can be relaxing, joyful, and cost-effective. From mowing your lawn to planting your own flower beds, there is a wide variety of gardening tasks that you can do yourself to make your yard look beautiful. If you’d rather spend your time not in the dirt, or if you’d like someone to take care of your plants for you, calling a professional gardening service is best. They can give you a workup of what services you’ll need and how often to schedule them.

It depends on the type of tree. Typically, late spring on the cusp of winter is ideal for trees about to emerge from dormancy and produce new buds. That said, late fall is ideal for certain deciduous trees prone to bleeding sap. Avoid trimming trees in early spring, when they’re prone to disease.

Firewood tends to be cheaper during the spring and summer. When the demand for firewood is lower during these seasons, many firewood companies offer lower prices and added discounts. In addition, the supply of firewood is typically higher in these months, meaning the quality is typically higher as well.

Most tree removals take 3-8 hours, requiring additional time for stump grinding or debris hauling.
