The work I had done was, 2 sets of staircases, with one being curved and the other L shape! Both had landings. They replaced all of my spindles. He also did the hall and game room in hardwood handscapewood! Not only are they beautiful but their price was very competitive! They did not overcharge or try to upcharge for higher things! This is a good honest business with great quality! They will forever be my go-to for any wood upgrades or repairs!"

Yes. So-called “floating” cork floors can be installed over concrete subfloor, though a polyethylene vapor barrier is required. This type of installation is achieved using the glue-down tiles, which are trickier for a DIY approach, so consider calling a professional to help you if you’re planning to install your cork floor over concrete. 

Impervious or vitreous tile and vinyl flooring work best for the kitchen. These surfaces are non-porous (or have a very low porosity) that can stand up against spills, splashes, and plumbing leaks. When you install laminate flooring, you have to install spacers (also called expansion gaps) along the edges. This space along the edges gives the flooring the room it needs to naturally expand and contract. When you don't have an expansion gap, you can end up with damaged or warped planks. This can lead to uneven flooring, which is unsightly and can cause a trip hazard.
