Fast Action Restoration

Very well. Called Fast Action early on Friday afternoon (July7) and they arrived on time at 5:00 that afternoon. Thomas, the tech, extracted water from the den and utility room, set up fans and a dehumidifier. It only took an hour. They came back two days later to pick up the fans and dehumidifier. A job well done. I will definitely call them again if I ever need this done again.

I have used this company many times and find them efficient, professional and do a beautiful job.   They have not only cleaned my rental property but they have also handle wet carpet from an overflow.

It was excellent. It's so long ago, I barely remember them but I do know the work they did was incredibly good. It was wonderful. I would use them again certainly. Their customer service stood out. They returned my call promptly 'cause I got an answering machine. Scheduling was a breeze. He showed up on time. He was here for about 3 hours and did an immaculate job. The work that they did was just beautiful. The company was remarkable, I thought.

A pump and hose busted on our washing machine flooding our laundry room and surrounding carpeted areas and walls. Joe answered the phone on the first call and worked it out to arrive within an hour. By that time we had removed most of the surface water, but he was able to check all the carpeted areas and walls with various moisture sensors. The water had run under the carpet much farther than we anticipated. He extracted the water from carpeted areas and a couple of rugs and set out high velocity fans and a dehumidifier. He explained what he was doing and what to watch for. It is apparent he has a lot of education and experience in restoration services. He went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and he was also very friendly. His company also provides routine steam cleaning and we will be calling them when it is time!

Came home from an overnight trip to find a portion of our garage ceiling lying on the garage floor. Turns out an upstairs commode had been running and overflowing for almost 24hrs. Found Joe Donovan w/ Fast Action Restoration on Angie's List and called about 3pm on Sunday afternoon. Joe answered the call, explained the process, and was at our house w/in 3hrs. He and his crew worked until past midnight to get all of the damaged material out of our house and start the drying process to prevent mold and further damage.
Joe communicated with us through the entire and process and kept us updated daily as to the moisture content and when we could return to the house. They hauled away everything they tore out and left the house in as good as shape as possible considering the circumstances. Because of Joe's fast response and quality work we were able to get back into our house w/in a few days and begin the remodel process.
I would highly recommend Joe and his company to anyone needing his services. You will not be disappointed!

Our house flooded as a result of a burst water heater at 4:20 am. We contacted FAS on their 24 hour hot line and the owner, Joe Donovan, assembled a crew and came out immediately. Joe was out every day to monitor the progress of drying out the rooms and preventing the growth of mold and mildew. He also met with our adjuster and they scoped the damage together and our insurance company took care of his fee directly. We were very satisfied with his professionalism and punctuality and would recommend him to anyone unfortunate enough to have this happen to them.

They did an excellent cleaning job.

Joe started by removing his shoes at the door. He then checked the carpet in our bedrooms and the area rug in our kitchen to determine what they were made of so that he could use the right cleaning solution on them. He mixed up a special formula for the area rug as it was wool. He used state of the art equipment and was very thorough. He was also extremely careful to protect our walls and furnishings, and cleaned up before he left. The carpet and rugs look great, and we are very pleased. Will definitely use Fast Action Restoration again, and recommend to our friends and neighbors.

He showed up on time,very important since, I had to meet him to open the unit , very professional and educational. I will recommend this small company in the future.
Wish I had him when I had a hot water heater leak and it soaked a large area of carpet. After interviewing several companies picked one that did not show up on time and did not do what I paid them to do, yet collected a full fee. Found out they had contracted out the job without disclosure so who knows who was in my tenant's home. Openly lied to me on the phone and and when I checked with the tenant they had already left with the check. That triggered my decision to join Angies List and so far I have been very pleased.

My experience with Fast Action Restoration went extremely well. Although he was unable to make it the day I called (called approximately 11:00 am) because the job he was currently working on took longer than expected. I did not have an emergency and to his credit he was on his way to my house at 7:30 pm and I told hime it could wait. We made the appointment for the next day at 5:00 pm and he was there on time.

They were excellent. They did a great job, and explained everything to us that was going. They kept us informed everyday, and showed us the progress of the job.

Our carpet in the bathroom and the living room were terribly in need of being cleaned. My wife uses a wheelchair, and the tires had begun to "break down", meaning that wherever she moved, the tires left tracks. I had tried to use what we all use to clean carpets and made it even worse.Spoke with Joe yesterday, made an appointment for today. Joe was professional, courteous, and on time. He had given me a 2 hour window for being here and about 15 minutes after the "opening" of that window, called to give me an exact time when he would be here. Punctual to the minute.The carpets are clean and even look better than when they were brand new. I will always use this company in the future and have no buyer's remorse. Also, I will recommend this company without hesitation.

Called on Sunday eve. approx.6:30 pm as water started coming through the ceiling.Joe said it would be about 90 minutes before he could get here.He was on time and started to remove soaked insulation from the attic.Joe and his partner spent about 2 hours in the attic.They set up 2 dryers in the attic and five in 3 different the living areas of the house. the dryer were in the house for 7 days an he came out 4 time to check the dryness of the sheet rock. with his thermal camera and moisture checker.He met with the appraiser and helped with the claim.

Joe's quick reaction time helped save my sheet rock and molding on the ceiling.

I would use him again.

He also does carpet cleaning I have not used him for that but when they need cleaning I will use him

At a time in our lives when we were vulnerable and could have easily been taken advantage of, Joe Donovan did the opposite. He showed true compassion for our situation, he cared about us and what we were going through, and he stood by us, and what he said he would do for us.

He is just a great guy, they are a great company, and I can say with total confidence that you just would not ever be sorry if you called them.

I believe what goes around, comes back around, and I KNOW that Joe's kindness to us during a difficult time will be rewarded.

Joe cleaned our carpets in two rooms and vacuumed all our hardwood floors and upholstered furniture. He got up the majority of the drywall dust and got the house ready for the housekeeper. By the time I returned, the house was about 80% cleaned up. We were very pleased with his work and would recommend him without reservation.

The A/C condensation drain leaked inside our house. We called Fast Action Restoration based on Angie's List reviews and because Joe has a thermal imaging camera that shows exactly where the walls and floors have wicked up water from leaks. He came within 40 minutes after we called him. He showed me where the water was and devised a plan and schedule for drying and dehumidifying the area. He had the right equipment with him based on my guess as to how extensive the damage was but he had to add a couple more dryers later the first day. He placed dryers in the crawl space and the hallways and focused them on the areas where water had been dripping down the drywall and seeping into the subfloor. He put mats on the hardwoods that sucked moisture out from the subfloor, and he placed a dehumidifier centrally to get the moisture out of the air. The machines stayed in place five days and Joe came every day to check the progress with meters and the camera. I think the camera was indispensable since the house has areas where gravity pulls the water into unexpected places. We had to move out of the house temporarily since the dust and noise from the blowers was unbearable for my young children. Joe called every time he came to the house and when he left just to let me know what he was doing and how the drying was progressing, even when I could not go to the house at the same time. He's highly professional and focused on mitigating damage and making sure there is absolutely no chance that mold can grow in an area where there has been a moisture leak once he has dried it with his equipment. Joe also cleaned our upholstered furniture and one room of carpet after the drying was finished. The dryers had pulled dust and dirt into the house and the cleaning removed all of the musty smell that had resulted from that. The steam cleaning was much better and Joe got out stains that we thought were not removable. We were very impressed with this service and will use Fast Action Restoration again for this. This is a very professional company, and I recommend Fast Action Restoration without reservation. Their communications with our insurance company have been businesslike and organized and Joe let us know the entire time that the house would eventually be back to normal. We are very glad we found this company although we hope the only thing we ever need them for in the future is steam cleaning!

They arrived within an hour from our call. They seemed to be very professional and very attentive to detail. They have got several imaging cameras that allow them to see whether or not there has been any damage to the interior of the walls and so forth. They are very competitively priced. I did find something that needed to be corrected, but they didn’t make the time to come back and check.
