"Arjon Painting was a complete life saver. I had a tenant do a lot of damage to just one bedroom and I just needed texturing. We had a quote from one contrator and one that showed up, but never heard from either one. I posted to Anji's list stating it was a small job hoping I could get anyone to come texture this room. He called me right away and came out and gave me a quote. He came out the next day and got it done in just a few short hours. It looks amazing and it is nice to know that there are some contrators willing to do small jobs to help out people in need! I could not have done this without him. He was polite, friendly and very punctual. He always called me to let me know he was on his way, which I appreciated. For me acknowledgement is huge and the other two contractors could have just sent me a text to say they were not interested, but did not have the courtesy to do that. I would highly recommend Arjon Painting and not the other two that I will not name."

It’s possible to paint certain drop ceiling tiles, including those made of plastic, metal, and wood. Painting fiberboard ceiling tiles is technically possible, but the results rarely look appealing, so it’s best to replace them with new tiles, especially given how affordable they are. If you do paint your drop ceiling tiles, it’s a good idea to use a paint sprayer and a rapidly-drying paint to avoid drips. Latex paint is often a good choice, especially if you thin it and apply it using a sprayer.

You can sometimes add water to your spray gun, depending on the design of your sprayer and the type of paint, paint finish, or sealant. In many cases, mixing in around 10% percent of water to the paint makes for an easier application process and further evens out the mist. If you caulk after painting, a few things can happen that you definitely don't want to happen. For one, caulk is messy and can make for an equally messy finish. Second, applying caulk after painting might not provide proper insulation because the paint is underneath the caulk and doesn’t add the same protection as caulk.
