"My 1950, 860 ft house had 20+ yr old dusty, pink insulation, that was even worse after the city revamped utility vaults & pushed rats into the neighborhood. I chose S.R Insulation to vacuum out, caulk open voids, and re-blow insulation. The owner set up an appointment quickly. On the day of service, he did call 15 minutes late to advise of an issue. The 3 person team arrived within an hour, set up the vacuum and bags, then removed insulation; original, wood-shingle slips; and ducting left by A/C techs. They worked between 3 to 4 hours and said they would return next business day. The two part installation, gave me an idea - I asked for an extension, so I could repair ceiling sheet rock while the attic was void. The owner agreed. He did not require partial payment. Three weeks later, I rescheduled. The install was even quicker, filling up to the stud height in white, blown insulation. He leaves behind a cardboard measuring stick to show you. The difference inside the house was immediate. I will not provide calculations, as I added front load washer/dryer to the electric usage at this same time. Later, I found my stove top vent fan blocked. I was able to pull out material from the duct, and the fan worked. Therefore I did not call the owner about this. I paid less than $1500, and thought it fair. I would use S.R. Insulation again and recommend them."

"I live in a old house, and the insulation on the attic needs to be added.  City of Austin Utilities (Austin Energy) has a great rebate program for insulation, so I signed up.  EnergyAttic is one of the companies listed by Austin Energy.  For getting the quote, the audit person was friendly and through with his explanation about what's and why's.  Finally I scheduled for the work.  Kent came with his crews and basically supervised and worked on the problem and the insulation.  He made sure everything was installed (seal, insulation) properly and Austin Energy auditor approved the work.  The door blower/blast test took a while because of setting issue (EnergyAttic subcontracted to other company), and finally after 3 hours, we did get an excellent result.  I was happy with Kent's and his crews work.  They were friendly, punctual, and got the work done.  They actually came back to reseal door on the furnace area.  They also promised to come back if  I were to work on the attic and the insulation needed to be re-sweep."

Jeremy came out for an estimate on Thursday, was prompt and professional, and had a quote ready right away. It was a very competitive so I signed up and they were able to come out and install my new attic insulation 2 days later. The day of the install they were were very prompt. The install took a little longer than expected because my house required some additional prep work, but they communicated with me about the extra time needed. "Those people were great. I knew them by their names because I knew them. They were actually recommended to me by the company I hired to add insulation to my attic. They told me about these 2 guys that had the business. I told them that I re-caulked my house every 2 or 3 years and they mentioned these guys to me. I called them and they came out; it was a father and son. I went around with them and they showed me what I have been doing wrong. It was roughly half of their retail price I paid. It was a big deal purchase. They had a special on the window sills; the normal caulking around the windows. The people I bought the house from had a glazing company come in and replace some of the windows with the wrong thickness of dual pane glass. The aluminum frame was made for one-half inch think dual pane windows. It was ready made in the factory. They put in three-eighths so I had an eighth of an inch gap about 4 of my windows. The seal had been compromised and there was fog inside the windows. I had the previous owner fix all that but he did it with the wrong glasses. Rhino Energy Solutions showed me that problem. Then I had him go in with a life time silicone caulk which is different than the normal caulking they use. He did the best fix he could do; it was short of replacing the window for all of the ones that was installed wrong. Two of them are in the living room. My wife and I immediately noticed that the amount of cold air blowing in from the north windows was reduced by them doing that. I had no idea that I even had that leak around the window. It takes somebody who knows glasses to see that there was an error over there. They did this in the same week I went from a 9 to a 39 R rating in my attic. It wasn’t possible to figure out how much I saved on my electric bill because of the caulking. I could feel the difference in the house. I went around with the father and the son and watched them do everything they did. They were pretty careful. This craftsman was willing to teach me part of his trade. I have been caulking my home myself since I bought it. He showed me how important it was to dig out the old caulk. He told me putting new caulk over old caulk doesn’t really work; it may be aesthetic. Their responsiveness was excellent. They showed up when they said they would be here."

• Alvaro arrived on time to give us an estimate on re-stuccoing the back and sides of the house.  He was very professional and explained just what was going to be done.  A detailed written estimate was provided to us.   The crew who did the work arrived on time and were very careful to cover plants and bushes so they wouldn't be damaged.  The job took 3 days due to recent rains and Alvaro came out to make sure there was no damage to the areas already repaired.  When the job was finished the area was left clean and Alvaro did a walk about with my husband to make sure we were satisfied with the job done.  We were VERY pleased with the quality of the product they used and with Alvaro and his crew.  We would highly recommend using BluSky for any stucco needs.
