Chris Gage at energy attic is very professional and straight forward I appreciate the great service I highly recommend this company.

They were a bit over the rest of the company’s that I had out. But the pease of mind that I had knowing that they were going to do it right was worth it. During the bid Mike answered all my questions before I was even able to ask them. Made a great impression on me. They also worked well with me removing my old insulation myself. PLUS , they hauled off the old stuff for me at a great price!! Thx guys!

We were given a date to complete the work. The day before the scheduled date a man came out to look at our house. The man said the previous man did not measure correctly so he had to take new measurements. But when he left he said they would be out the next morning to complete the one day job. The next morning we received a message stating they would have to reschedule because they had the wrong crew scheduled for our appointment. Of course, we had already paid our 10% down at this point. I only had one day open for the week since I scheduled around the Energy Attic appointment. I could not do the next day so I had to do another day. The men arrived after 11:00 am instead of 8 am as told for the rescheduled day. It took 3 days to complete instead of the 1 day to complete. I called Energy Attic many times only to get an answering machine to leave a message. I never received any callbacks. The crew told me the office was supposed to call me about taking more than one day but I never received a call. After the work was completed I called Energy Attic 3 days in a row having to leave a message once again on an answering machine to pay the balance due. I never received a return call. The fourth day I actually was able to speak to someone since Summer was the only person that could take care of our project and she was always out-of-the-office. The men at the house worked continuously for 3 days. I just wish they would have taken all the chicken wire to dispose of, per agreement. I am still trying to dispose of the chicken wire in each week s trash pickup. This event was a nightmare!

One of the most professional firms I have encountered. From Tyler in sales to Paco leading his crew and even though the A/C part of the job was the next working day the Tech (I apologize for forgetting his name) did the same quality of work. I very seldom review purchases and or services but when its above quality most business do today I felt it necessary. I don't want to forget Kendra in customer service deserves 5 stars also. Having said all of this our problem was an excessive amount of "dust". It's only been a week so the results are not clear if all is well. They advised it could take a couple of weeks - so I'm hopeful. As a senior (80) years and small business ex owner it was a pleasure to see business can still be done today to honor customer service.

Did great work

Energy Attic is a wonderful company that provides a great, energy-saving service in DFW. They tell you who is coming out ahead of time and send pictures of their team members (which, as a woman who lives alone, I instantly felt more comfortable). I called Energy Attic up because my house got unbearably hot this summer despite running the AC. I thought having some foam insulation installed would help the situation. Tyler came right out and climbed up into the 180-degree attic. It took him just a few minutes to figure out that a lack of insulation was not my problem: there was no "barrier" between my rooftop and the summer heat. He was very patient in explaining that because it was over 180 in my attic, my AC just couldn't cool that air down to a reasonable level. He also saw that my intake vents were blocked and added that to the list of things to take care of-- free of charge. So instead of selling me a bunch of foam insulation that would've done no good, he suggested that I get a radiant barrier to take the stress off the AC. Paco came out just a few days later. It took his team about 5 hours from start to finish-- they arrived on time and worked very quickly. They were all very kind and professional. I went up into the attic after they left and was SHOCKED by how much cooler it was. EA came out in June. It is now September and I can say that I've noticed a huge difference in the temperature of the house. Mine is an older home ('76), and always had this very distinctly musty smell. The energy barrier has whipped the moisture out of the air and gotten rid of that smell-- which was an unexpected bonus to having the barrier put in. Also, I would like to say that EA has a very reasonable finance program set up for the work they do. I was caught by surprise and unable to pay the full amount up front. I've now got one full year with 0% interest to pay the bill-- which has taken a huge amount of stress off of the situation. All-around 5 stars for Energy Attic and their team! I highly recommend them as a safe, professional, and fast-working company. **UPDATE 11-26-18** Since posting this review a few months ago, I've discovered that the company Energy Attic uses for its financing, "GreenSky," is a scam. The EA team assured me that I could make interest-free payments towards my balance for one year following the work on my house. However, GreenSky is one of these shady lenders who charges you a monthly "payment" so that you, the borrower, believe you're making payments towards the principal. What they are actually doing is charging you a "payment" that they claim as "interest." So the hundred dollars a month I thought was going towards the principal, was actually just a *portion* of what GreenSky calls "interest." That's right, I've been paying just a portion of the interest I was assured I wouldn't have to pay until next year. We got radiant barriers and solar fans added in our attics. Bradley was friendly, answered promtly to our calls and answered all our questions. There was an improvement in the house temperature, but not as much as expected.

The workers showed up as scheduled. They had a very tough entry to the house for their truck but managed to make it work. I would have liked to have gotten the invoice and paperwork with all the details of what would be done sooner than the day before, but Travis was very good at getting back to us almost immediately whenever we had a question.

They had a cancellation and moved my appointment up a day; that pleased me as we had a cold front blow in and temps were in mid-30's. Before they were finished I noticed my house was noticeably quieter. They worked for 1.5 hours and were finished with the cleanup. Since then I have been able to lower my thermostat 6 degrees and it's warmer than before. Thank you

Called out this Company to submit a bid to install a foil radiant barrier and a solar roof fan in my attic. They were very professional and were able to perform the work in a very tight timeframe due to the scheduling of other contractors. A Supervisor came out after the workmen had left to inspect the completed work and discuss the results with me. I am anticipating significant savings on my electric bills going forward.
