Customers say: Quality work

"We were not given much notice by the shed company about the delivery of our shed and Tony helped get our fence taken down and rebuilt quickly to allow for smooth delivery. A good portion of both the neighbors and our fencing was involved and things turned out great as always! We have used Tony on multiple home repairs and have always been pleased with the outcome. He was great to work with yet again from start to finish! I 100% recommend him for any job and love that he cares about his clients and is also affordable!"

"Options given were not really specific enough. Josh did extensive carpentry (both interior & exterior), power washed & painted, exchanged & installed light fixtures, & I already have him scheduled for future projects."

"Very professional. Took as much time as needed to answer questions. Very good attention to detail. Even though a few more rods were needed than originally quoted, they stuck to their original quote price. No surprises. I would highly recommend this company."

"I'm so glad we hired Tommy Kirk to do our ceilings and refinish/paint our master bedroom. He and his crew were very professional, did a great job and completed the project right on time. Tommy is very detailed and is very careful to communicate regularly and customize your project to suit your specifications. He also is careful to plan the project sequence to provide the maximum convenience. We couldn't be more pleased with the experience and the beautiful work! I highly recommend TK Remodeling for your project!"

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

You don’t have to commit to a complete home renovation to age in place comfortably—those can get pricey. Instead, focus on a few impactful changes. Consider adding a stair lift or installing ramps to eliminate barriers. Upgrading to non-slip flooring can prevent falls while adding brighter lighting can improve visibility throughout your home. These thoughtful updates can make your home much easier to navigate and enhance your comfort and safety without the stress and cost of a complete overhaul.

Absolutely! You can tailor the design to meet your specific needs and preferences. Whether it's adding amenities, adjusting dimensions, or choosing different materials, customizing your storm shelter ensures it suits your family's requirements and offers the utmost comfort and safety during severe weather. So go ahead and create a shelter that perfectly fits your unique needs!

Above all, the downside to building a new house is a longer timeline. You need several months to finish the build, depending on the supply chain and labor availability in the meantime. Building a home compared to buying one is also more expensive, both in the building process and when it comes to mortgage rates and property taxes.

Costs depend on project complexity, materials, labor, permits, and required revisions.

The cost to draw house plans typically ranges from $800 to $2,700, with standard blueprints averaging around $1,800. For a custom home, the cost is higher, with blueprints often falling between $5,000 and $20,000, and potentially more for very complex designs. Several factors influence the total price, including the project's size, the number of rooms, the type of drawings required, and the architect's experience level. You may also need to pay a structural engineer to ensure building safety, particularly for custom homes.
