The contractor was not ready to do the job. He said it would take him 6 weeks. It took 5 months. He did not have enough workers. He was using other people's workers so he had to take them when they were available. We had to call him to cine back to finish things his workers did not finish. We now have no electricity in our third car garage because the electricians disconnected it and will have to hire someone to do that. There are lots of little things that were not done the way they should be because things were taking so long they were kind of thriwn together. The shower leaks. We will not call him back to fix it. Chris was a nice guy. He would make a great neighbor but I would not hire him to do the rest of the work we will have done. I do not have faith in angies list and will not be renewing my subs ription. I got better referrals from my neighbors.

I contracted this company to cover my terrace.  It took about 10 months to complete.  There was no communication or continuity during this long period of time.  The job was pretty good except for some leaking and poor guttering.  I have someone else working on repairing the leaks.  Everything was subcontracted out.  Excuse after excuse for long durations of time when no one was working on the job. There was also confusion on the billing procedures.  In the end there were some questionable issues on paying one of the subcontractors.

"We thank you for contracting us for this job. As far as the duration, it took 7 months to complete due to availability of materials and subcontractors. The stone on the house was discontinued so we had to find someone to make a custom stone to match. We knew of only one leak that you called us about. That leak was fixed as soon as we found out. Had we known of others we would have gladly repaired them. The invoices match the total amount on the bid. There were no questions as far as billing. We have copies of all invoices and checks to prove that this is true. As far as paying the subcontractors we have proof that all were paid what was on the bid in a timely fashion. We are very sorry you are unhappy, if there is anything else we can do for you please let us know. We strive for customer satisfaction."

It was all positive experience. They could do anything. They were able to do the tasks that we had. They were certainly not anything that people would want to do. That was really good. The price and the work were good. They did a good quality work. We have no complaints.

It's hard to say enough good things about Chris Walls and Republic Custom Homes. Chris worked with me from planning what I wanted, all the way to the end of the project. He was always courteous, professional, and great with communicating everything that was going on.  The price was very reasonable, the quality of work exceptionally good, and I am extremely happy with my new garage and the additional storage area.
I have an estimate for another project, and plan to use them again in the near future.  Highly recommended!

I was very satisfied with their work.  They were perfect gentlemen.  They did really good work.  Their price was reasonable.  They were willing to work with us on some problems that we had.  I can't say anything but good about them.  They have given us a quote to do some more work and we will call them back.  They are also going to some work for our daughter.

My husband and I were so impressed with the workmanship, punctuality and quality of all work.  All work was completed on time and with little disruption to our family and the other parts of the house.  He completed all work on time and was so courteous and it was so nice to work with him.  If I plan on doing anything to my home in the future, I will definitely want Chris and his team to do it!
