I went and purchased a new tank unit parts replacement for the plumber. When the guys arrived they found my plug was just hardened and offered to fix it for free and not charge me the $249.00 install of the parts I purchased. This saved me over $300.00. They refused to even let me pay for a service call so instead I tipped the two guys for their honesty and generosity. More bids/estates came in much higher than theirs AND I also learned from others I could buy my own water heater and pay a plumber for insulation only. So I got a new WH and an extended warranty on it. Mother Plumber sent a Fantastic-informative-polite technician Matt to install and warranted his work. "I had contacted Mike for a service call to check out a potential shower pan drain leak issue, he was able to squeeze me in his schedule quicker than everyone else I contacted so I picked him, first thing to know is that Mike is a ?Master Plumber? which is a higher certification than a regular/?journey? plumber, and they are more experienced and cost more than regular plumbers, I did not know this ahead of time before hiring him and had some initial misunderstanding on the service fee, Mike was very fair and worked with me regarding this, he was also very professional and honest person when giving me his diagnosis of my shower drain was not leaking and so he didn?t bullshit me into some work that I didn?t need.
