"Recently completed a pool renovation with Puryear and we can't be more pleased with the result. The process started with the initial bid. This process was simple and easy. John was straight forward and trustworthy. His suggestions for our renovation was a welcome communication. Everything he recommended was right on point and we agreed. Other companies were asked to bid and received, the bids were confusing and contained many "what if's". This was not acceptable to us. John's bid was competitive and easy to understand. Renovation began fairly quickly after his bid was accepted, frankly faster than we had imagined. The entire process from pool draining to, new coping, new tile and new plaster went smoothly with constant communication from John. The quality of the work is exceptional and our pool looks good as new. We look forward to a great summer. "Tim had serviced our pool for over year. We recently had a problem where the pool pump would not work. Tim charged $145 for a new capacitor. It did not fix it. Tim then said to call an electrician saying the breaker was broken. I paid $144 for an electrician to tell me the breaker box was NOT broken. So, we had a problem that Tim could not fix. What does he do? He texts me that my weekly maintenance rate just went up between 28 % and 69 %. Plus, it would be another $650 to replace the pump. So, his response to not being able to fix the problem, was to raise my weekly rates and to ignore the over $299 that Tim had caused me to spend so far. Needless to say, I told Tim goodbye. I then found a professional that diagnosed and replaced the pump for $450 in less than an hour. I could have saved all kinds of headaches and $299 if I had never used Tim."
