Warranties offered

"They are good quality windows and their customer service was great. However a little pricey. The window latch broke after a couple months and it took seven months to get it because they claimed they discontinued the windows. How am I to get a lifetime warranty on a discontinued window? And 6 months to replace a latch. Scary. I do like the windows but I will not do this again for the other windows due to price and length it took to get broken latch fixed. Not sure how good the warranty actually is"

"Mark came to review the tree trimming project on the same day I filled out the information on Home Advisor. On the day I called him that I was ready to schedule the project, he said he would be there in the afternoon. Via text he let me know when he was headed to the rental property and then again when he arrived so I could know when to meet him. He raised the canopy of the tree and made sure it looked balanced from the street. He cleaned up all the limbs and branches and even raked the yard to get the twigs. I agree with other reviewers that he was profession, punctual, trustworthy and dependable. We will look to his company for future projects."

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

A professional bathtub installation or replacement typically takes one to three days, depending on the project's complexity and any necessary alterations. If you hire a professional, most replacements can be completed in one to three days. However, if you choose the DIY route, the process could take up to a month, as it involves removing the old tub and drywall, installing the new tub, repairing the drywall, and installing new tiling.

Yes. Common materials for Roman tubs are acrylic, fiberglass, cast iron, and stone resin. The choice you make can depend on various factors, including weight, cost, durability, style, heat retention, and aesthetics. Ultimately, it really depends on your space to determine the best option.

A good soaking tub will allow you to completely submerge yourself in the water, so it needs to be at least 20 inches deep. Luxury soaking tubs are 24 inches deep so that you can easily have enough space to be submerged in the water once the tub is full.

A peeling bathtub is not a good thing. It’s a sign that the finish is coming off, and continued exposure to water and cleaning products can continue to damage the finish and eventually the underlying structure of the tub. What starts as a few chips or flakes can worsen into large chunks peeling off.

The plumbing industry has standardized the sizes for bathtub drains. They are 1 1/2 inches wide to fit all standard bathtubs from 14 to 26 inches deep. The standard sizing is to ensure that the drain fits into the P trap, a special part of your piping that prevents sewer water from bubbling up into your home (yuck).
